Slight change of plans for us, Peter and Nina (boardsurfr and Nina from united speed sailors of America). have timed there Australian adventure to be at Lake George from 12/2 to 26/2. So we'll join them, and have changed our booking to the double cabin for those dates.
Magic! (Recent photo?)
That was last year stretch when I was there, lets hope for same, or some locals say it gets even better?
would love another day like that one Hardie, from memory it was going to be a 4 day drive home for you

Yes you have a great memory, and I rushed home and did it in 2 1/2 days. Would love to have 3 or 4 days like that one, to get used to it, and try out a few things, different fins etc
Love all the fin tracks in the weed.
I wonder which ones are mine

The longest ones?
LOL, looking forward to catching up with everyone again.
Would it be worth me taking my foil to LG? I guess I would sail off the beach somewhere if there's not much wind? I'm already bringing a suitable board but thinking of throwing in the foil and a big sail too.
Don't think there's anywhere deep enough in the little lake, Think Fangys or Lilacs.
Don't know about the big lake though, that looks deeper with less weed.
Should be OK in the ocean, could be fun if there's not much wind.
Jamie told me that he foils at another lake near Millicent. If you are staying over a week it might be worthwhile, often there are spells of very light winds for a few days.

If you don't mind foiling in the ocean, you have ready access to the sea from Beachport in anything from the S to E. SW to NW will be off shore

Yep for sure, no doubt Jamie will chime in as he's a keen foiler.
First photo is from around this time last year second photo is from last Saturday so looks like the level of the lake is good.
Not sure how the weed is reports from Andy say it's around 300mm below the surface at the spit.
