As I remember there was none of Formula sailor there on our Green Island marathon (?)

What do you think will be result for rider on Formula setup in such conditions?

Manageable still or too harsh conditions ?

Will good formula race the fly away and the rest of our pack kilometers away?

Since there is almost no wind on GC for 3 weeks I am looking for some light wind solution, like Formula or Light Wind JP but wonder in the same time what is their upper limit.
I know that formula could sail up to 35 knotts wind !!?

^ For the course we sailed with that wind (18 avg out @ Green) FW would have been much slower. In sub 10 knots it would be closer and depend on the lulls. The full course around the island would be a different story so long as one could have survived the reach out and back.

Free-riding in light winds is a totally different story though, then reaching is a lot of fun.

NB: I had FW with me that day and took slalom, even then a 7.8 was probably too big.
