lee: was actually a flaka attempt, and nope but getting there! my tricktionary + dvd should arrive next week I think based on justins pics, it looks like i'm throwing the sail across enough, but i'm leaned way too far back, need to get forward and land nose first and pivot around it... I think I'm landing pretty flat at the moment, so not getting the rotation. Same with my vulcans i'm guessing.
scully: hey i don't think its quite as powerful as the 5.9 icon, but its mega light. The icon was probably a bit heavy for freestyle in the 5.9 size, swat is superlight, like light light light. So yeah, I think i'm gonna stick with that, cause I lose hardly any low wind range, but its so much easier to try stuff with.
pics look awesome justin. the very first one the sky looks pretty amazing. oh and maybe try google picasa? I have it set up so it syncs everything in a folder on my computer to a web album... zero effort required to upload. Thou i've never tried using an account on tinypic.
HC: thats 3 days in a row at shearwater... is it the new winter wonderland
if anyone would like a copy of the photos i took including the local goldy guys that were there. just drop me your email addy as a pm and i'll send them through.
i have a lot of photos in sequences which weren't uploaded. i have also started editting them properly and they are coming up a lot better.
Great pics Justin, and I like the arty B&W ones too.
Did you get some time to sail in between all the photography?
thanks anita.
nope, no sailing. it has been a while for me now. i had my small gear there but the wind didn't realy get above 15 knots so i stayed dry.
hopefully wed/thu next week.
^ nah not yet, i worked 36 hours straight wed/thu so no time to go to pick it up.
hoping monday at this stage. i've started designing a medium version now also.
