Interesting to hear the thoughts on the mast plate shim on the smik board and armstrong mast? I was thinking of getting that board. The new armstrong masts already has a rake back so is the mast base shim adding more angle back?

Hey DJ, any proto PPC wings hanging out there? Curious to see if they are going down the solid handle pathway.
Darn, didn't think there would be much wind today so I didn't come over. Looks like good wind at the moment. Is there anything on Saturday? I entered the pro-am long distance race but I don't know if they are having it.
The local board shop sells the KT Ginzus. They look a bit heavy und unstable to me but there are a couple of local rippers on them.

I understand something is being worked on currently but don't have any info on wing details or timelines sorry.

Here ya go.. The word is hard handles are in the works and shouldn't be too far off..
Notice the shim between foil and board.. It's a common thing to do this for racing and Arnie told me it helps with going upwind and also helps to recover from a breach splash down even if the board does travel across the water slightly nose up..
Perfect condition here again today and more racing planed.. There's a bit of a wind shadow in the take off area..
