Thanks for the vote of confidence, lacey.
Working today till around lunch time at least... so yes I have seen all that stuff. Glorious sunshine outside and I'm stuck indoors. But nifty retort? Nah! Like I tried to point out once before, it's like groundhog day around here. Everyone just keep coming up with the same arguments. On both sides! We can all cut 'n' paste till we're old and tired. Doesn't prove much.
All that's left to do is to troll FlySurfer occasionally.
OK... blame lacey...
dinsdale, WSJ is a closed site and I'm not about to stump up cash to go check it out, especially not to Murdoch. But you do realise that WSJ is owned by News Corp?? And that article looks like it was lifted straight out of the Australian??? It's an opinion piece that reports a little of what's been going on and then parrots all the same arguments as Murdochs other papers.
Same bull, just a different title at the top of the page. So it proves... what?
I mean... really, just look at this rubbish...
Great! Seems voting on it will fix the problem. Let's all vote for bigger ice caps. That'll fix it!
Laurie.. how do we create a poll on here??
1. I want to help mankind live a better life by giving the planet bigger ice caps
2. I want to help mankind live a better life by giving all women bigger boobs
Tough choice, eh?
We pay for a Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency.
No issue with Energy Efficiency, but it should change it's name to Department of climate change propaganda to better reflect its role.
Advisors to that department is an "independent" climate commission. http://climatecommission.gov.au/about/
Tim Flannery (Australian of the Year 2007): failure to act on climate change may eventually force the creation of a global carbon dictatorship, which he calls the "Earth Commission for Thermostatic Control"
This post isn't for or against the Tax... just saying.
