The video that went viral earlier this week degrading the Islam religion was quite obviously propaganda created by the elite in order to spark division among Christians and Muslims and of the USA and the Middle East in order to give the USA more reason for more illegal and immoral wars and military actions in the Middle East. However, not everyone is buying this hateful lie spread by
the Illuminati and are seeing it for what it is--divisionary tactics of the elite in order to disrupt solidarity and foment unrest, hate and division.

WTF?

Despite the appalling behaviour of the protesters, you would have to question the motives of the guy that made the movie, what was he trying to achieve, Freedom of expression or freedom to incite hatred?

I'm only going off the work of the most insightful historian of modern times (Niall Ferguson) who speaks of such things in the context of what caused wars, and my personal observations that he unfortunately seems to be right.

He also speaks about the class system and economic factors like enequal wealth distribution causing conflict - and I agree...... so does that make me a communist?

No I am not an apartheid fan, with only 6% genetic variation in all of us the concept of "races" is redundant - we're all the same species. I hate the idea of apartheid.

However, man's hate is real and has not changed so why do we think we can throw everyone in a room and expect there won't be trouble?

Realism vs racism.

Then explain why Hitler and Stalin, two of the biggest murderers in history were atheists?

Both raised in religious homes, both gave up religion at a young age and committed some of the worst atrocities as atheists.

Just saying...

the big R word drove them to it

raised in a Rs homes, gave up R ????

so there major influence of life early on, may /most prabably, had a big impact on
how the individuals thought process developed and ultimately caused these atrocities you speak of ...........

mmmmm interesting ,i may never thought of that angle

Races really don't exist.
People constructed the idea.

People hate each other and kill in the name of race or religion.

It should not happen.

What exactly do you have an issue with above P.R?

Yes but this isn't a discussion on religion because those discussions get shut down.
This is a philosophical discussion on the right to freedom of expression.

the word "discussion" usually refer to activity of presenting different , sometimes opposite opinions ...
possibly due to my poor English I am still missing something

Yes maybe.
Discussions come in a range of formats, from everyone saying the same thing in total agreement, to everyone saying different things in total disagreement, and all points in between.

Discussions where everyone disagrees are usually called arguments, (or sometimes marriage).
Discussions where all sides are logically nonsensical and for the most part unprovable usually turn ferral for the simple reason that noone can present the ultimate proof that their point of view is the correct one. These are usually religious discussions.
Discussions on immigration policies shouldn't fall into that category because ultimately we have thousands of years of recorded history to draw on for prior examples of how particular policies pan out.

So far, it's hard to find any examples of where mixing groups of different ethnicity AND a particular (r word) has worked out with a happy ending in the long term.
The two societies mutually coexist for extended periods slowly building up a backlog of unresolved differences until finally some small incident rips the whole bag open and all the differences which have been papered over for the last XX years all boil over in violence and bloodshed.

huh, so Australia was populated by a unique homogeneous group and the Irish, English, Scots, Welsh, Italians, Greeks, Asians and all the others are waiting to cut each other's throats? None of them managed to put their differences aside to commit, create a new nation under the sun and evolve then? It's all doomed then and there is just no point to defend so call Australia right, so why are people outraged at the waste of precious ideals transcending social Darwinism you just presented?

Mind you I'm not Australian myself, just another infidel.

I'm not having a go but social Darwinism is one theory, our modern nations are built on the ideal of transcending our animal nature to become something else. It's too easy talking of doom and gloom calling on fate and not aim to achieve where other societies have failed... Just saying...

Yes im muslim; yes the violence by the protesters was wrong; no i dont believe it is right for atheists to disrespect religion in this way; Mohammed (PBU) is believed to be the last and the holiest prophet of God by muslims and shouldnt be mocked regardless of your beliefs; yes if this sort of stuff came out about Jesus or Buddah i would be protesting.. peacefully; my understanding is that someone yelled out racist taunts to the crowd and then was attacked and then police had to save him and then thats when the scuffle began - in saying this any violence against police shouldnt be and isnt tolerated as ive already said but making it clear; yes i hate the comment 'why arent muslims speaking out against this' news.ninemsn.com.au/national/8533533/muslims-condemn-violent-sydney-protest
We always speak out against it, it would be appreciated if some of you gave a minute to read; yes i personally would like to be in a ring with the guy who said that stuff about the prophet - is that your problem? no, is it the problem for the police, no - but i would defend my beliefs just as i defend australia within my community and the way i defend my family. if anyone disagrees with my beliefs then by all means voice your opinions and debate it respectfully dont be so low as to make a rude offensive hurtful movie; do i think the protesters voiced their opinion respectfully? No;
No from a muslims perspective you are not an infidel whoever you are reading this, infidel refers to the 'bad' amongst the muslims and the christians and the jews and non-believers; Bad = the guy who made the movie. Ill try respond to rest of posts later

500 bogans party in Perth and it turns violent

And over last weekend

300 bogans partied in Perth and it turned violent

One group are cited as all evil, the other doesn't get a mention.

Any bets on what is going to happen next (school holiday) weekend ??

ah the ol "Hitler and Stalin were atheists " chestnut . .Hey in regard to the video where the guy says "nice " it demonstrates how fickle life can be and that we really should make the most of every day that we walk the planet . All this poo about religion really is quite silly .I like the saying God probably doesn't exist ,get over it and move on . Personally I try to live by the mantra that there isn't a situation that doesn't benefit from a calm, compassionate approach with unconditional love .

Indeed.

I too enjoy reading Niall Ferguson's many novels regarding European history from the dark ages to the industrial revolution. Those stories of thundering horses and gallant knights, the tales of influential monks and greedy Barons really do make great reading and also inspire me with the belief that civilisation only existed in western Europe.

Thankfully the archeologists are beginning to catch up and prove much of conventially accepted history is a complete and utter load of bollocks.

Praise be to the post context-driven archeogologists and their war on historians

There was only one group that I truly consider brain dead and un-Australian!

Maybe there is room for sharia law.

Collective movements are the root of all evil. Us/Them mentality.
It's especially evil when it is based on "them are evil" as the collective begins to ignore itself, concentrating on how evil "they" are (see: projection).

Hitler and Stalin effectively created their own religion. For example Soviet communism had Marx, Lenin and Stalin; the holy trinity. Brainwashing began at an early age and any questioning it was forbidden. The parallels didn't go unnoticed even in communist Russia.

A lot of religious figures and smart types have recommended the eschewing of organised groups and religions, god is within and so-on. Most go even further. Google: "Jesus hate your family".

Yes maybe.

In discussions one shouldn't shoot to kill opponent first.
This is where discussions end.
IMO.

The violent demo in Sydney (and the people involved) was just beyond stupid. Here is a good article that sums it all up without using offensive words.
