You have your opinion, i have mine. But how can you say that the above article is so great and full of facts. It was written by a journalist. If you believe the above journalist then you must also agree that every poll competed on culling sharks in the media has been at worst 66% against to as high as 95% for a few in support of no cull..If you read back I've listed those links..

Just because it agrees with your opinion, doesn't make it great Journalism. Its base less rubbish to be honest. Their is no more fact in that than any other published piece of political press..

Drum lines won't do anything, as far as they will not guarantee any personal safety. Enclosed swimming barriers would, Why does he not precede with that. Roll them out all up and down the coast. That's a guarantee.

The government has a duty to protect citizens? Really than if its the duty, then maybe they should introduce a curfew on water hours. Drum lines is nothing more than lip service, or baby kissing leading up to an election.

Spending billions on trying to cut the road toll doesn't guarantee safety on the roads either; on that basis shall we stop trying to lessen the risk on our roads too?

A mate of mine caught this 10' bronze whaler - unintentionally - at Roe reef, just north of longreach yesterday. He reckons Colin owes him $6K. And yes the shark did shake the hook free & swim away safely & unharmed. 'Spose that means no $6K.

I recall seeing up to 15 bronzies following our boat at the Abrolhas. Some over 4m.
