If vaping can get you off the **** it has to be a good thing. There is a bit of concern about the juices though with artificial flavours and colouring and their health effects.
I have spoken with a couple of guys who have gotten off the **** with vaping and say they feel more healthy for it, especially their back pocket.
I am smoking 20-25 a day of Port Royal Original and admit I enjoy it mostly. The dust at the end of the pack is crud. I have tried giving up a few times. Cold turkey only works if you are really strong, which I am not, and tapering off keeps you in there so regression is just too easy.
I want to get off the **** at least for the sake of my shirts with so many burn holes.
There is a guy been in town for a while who advertises, Give up smoking in one hour, 96% success rate, guaranteed, if you regress he will repeat the program free of charge as often as required. He says he uses advanced hypnotherapy for which the cost is $500.
So I am tossing up, hypno or vape.
What say ye wise people???
Just got that kanga mini drip give it a shot thanks hopefully get a bit of an increase in fitness lung for sure would damage less with vapor than smoke

Well if you vape, with nicotine, you are still addicted to nicotine.
vaping your health most definetly improves, no doubt. In every aspect. also you vape at a fraction (like 1/50th of the cost even more if you mix your own juices) than smoking. You don't smell, you don't have those usual highs and lows.
But...you still have a vice. Depends on if you are okay with that. Again it's a lifestyle choice,
personally love vaping (but I hated smoking). But remember we are all still Guinea pigs, the science, especially on the artificial flavours and the effects of glycerine, glycol vapour is still an relative unknown.

Decide to quit, and just quit. Why fiddle with half measures? Just means you don't really want to quit. Which in turns means you won't quit no matter what you do.
You're over the nicotine craving in however long it takes between desire to have another smoke, the rest of it is your psychological desire to go through the motions. So just don't
Yeh in the end I reckon the big kami' is right (As I suck on my vape typing this with one hand ...lol).
Cisco, before you blow $500 on a hypnotist read the book by Alan Carr - it also has a high percentage success rate. Your local library will have it. First up it tells you to smoke all you want to while you read it, there's no pressure. It's probably self-hypnosis really, there's a fair bit of repetition involved.
Physical cravings are a lie that sells nico replacement gums and patches, and now "vape juice" (I imagine gobs of chewing tobacco spit when I hear that term). If your body craved it that badly and that often, every time you tried to sleep you'd wake up every hour to have one.
The worst thing about quitting is realising how sucked in you were by the fallacy that you "needed" it so badly.
Vaping isn't quitting. It's just another form of nicotine consumption.
Make it up in your head to quit, do it and don't look back.
Agreed...but right now I think I need a coffee with a sugary doughnut, to consume when playing my online game, whilst leaving facebook messages via my smart phone...oh and I really really need a new kite this year.

Makes sense. Thanks.

What it does is split quitting burning tobacco and quitting the rest : nicotine/hand action/mouthfeel/psychological ties etc.
It lets you leave the burning behind (stop stinking, regain sense of smell, stop huddling outside like a loser).
Then you still have to quit vaping - but by then analogues will be the last thing you'd go back to.
For many the 'just quit' approach has been tried and failed. This gives a 2 step way to do it. And with the right gear and right range of juices at your fingertips, the first step is effortless.
I'd say around 50% success rate from the 20 or so I've watched go thru vaping.
And then there's my kind. Kicked the smoking habit (guys around me smoke everyday and I never want one now ... That took 2 years though), but I actually really enjoy vaping. I have no intention of quitting vaping, although that was my intention at first.
I don't stink, my health is 'tickyboo', it's cheap and I really enjoy it.
Never enjoyed smoking, that's the horrible thing about it. That's the weird thing about it. It's like dying from a thousand cuts.
Who knows the real health effects of vaping but you'd have to assume you woukd be better off without it.
Then again plenty of other things trying to kill you (ha ha typical smokers excuse right )
i enjoy vaping . i enjoy the taste . I enjoy getting in diff concentrates and making new combinations .
currently have vanilla custard , raspberry , banana and apricot flavours coming to mix up some custard flavours .
yummo

No problem. Good luck with it. Just remember your brain is an incredibly useful tool, it believes everything you tell it.
I stopped cold feet 12? years ago. The hard thing was not the withdrawal of nicotine but breaking the habit! Supressing the triggers like have a fag with a beer, light one up when starting the car, have one after eating, have one with the smoko break..... When I passed that was hard to resist when at the pub and everybody was going outside for a fag.............. But now I would not have one for gold, never trued vaping and have no interest to. I have to admit that when on holiday I have a really good Cuban cigar and to shelf Armagnac with my bro..... he is a cigar fanatic and has an awesome collection. I always regret it the day after......... feels like the booze fairy chat in my mouth.
I have been Vaping for about 4 weeks now and used about 10mls of juice. I have had about 5 rollies smokes which taste terrible.
Most of my efforts to quit have always fallied after I consume alchol it's great to be able to vape while having a few beers.
the downside for CISCO is its now illegal to Vape with nicotine in QLD , the reason being Unknown!

The reason that jump to my mind is......................... no tax on nicotine juice????

Exactly...its not a reason, it is THE reason. If they were fair dinkum about public health they would just ban all cig sales full stop.
So how they gonna tell you have nicotine in it, doesn't smell any different I can assure you.
Oh I know, expensive nicotine machines and people to test vapours at the tax payers expense.
easy, keep a ciggy with you...if someone tests you quickly light up 'oh you are smoking a ciggy', that's okay then! On your way.
Even though the cost to health for this habbit is well known.
It’s a reasonably well known historical fact that Sir Isaac Newton blew himself up; not by performing a science experiment, but with an ill-timed punt on shares in the South Sea Company. --After the dust had settled, and after Newton had presumably moved through the denial and anger stages, he accepted the results of his folly and reportedly said:
‘I can calculate the movement of stars, but not the madness of men.’
especially the madness of bureaucrats.

3 months today no cigs , no tax, no smell , no ashtray , no lighters! Love it. I have vaped 4 x 30 ml bottles in. 3 months 1 x 30 ml is costing me $14.50. Don't tell anyone!
I brought my latest batch half from Uk and half from NZ , the U.K. juice was half the price of the NZ supplier and arrived quicker.

if tobacco companies are investing in all these fancy hooka pipes theres a good reason cisco . they just want you addicted to something they sell!!!!!
they really dont want you to give up anythng and they dont give atoss about your health

Are you getting the juice with or without nicotine??
I bought a Vape unit of a local supplier. ivapeaustralia.com.au He mixes and supplies juice but of course in Qld nicotine juice is illegal to possess but I find his tobacco flavoured "Old Captain" and "French Pipe" mixes reasonably satisfying. The inhaling effect is just like a smoke.
A three day stint in hospital last week gave me the necessary break from the smokes and now I am down to 5 a day and tapering off. The smokes are not as satisfying now either.
The unit I bought is quality and a handy size. I get a day from a tankful and 2 days from the battery. It is the Istick Pico.
Yes 12 mg nicotine pre mixed from overseas, the only problem is you can't always try before you buy.
I'm not sure of the exact law in QLd but as far as I know you can't have nicotine in your juice You can still import it. Try Aussie vapours forum for further info.
