Unfortunately, I'm still addicted. I may have 5 per day... I enjoy my odd ciggie.

Today, while I was waiting for a take away coffee. Some turd interrupted me while on the phone and asked me to move as I was smoking,. He told me that his kids were nearby. I was outside and not doing anything outside of the law.

When I finished my phone call I told the guy to call Derrin Hinch if he had a problem with my behaviour. I ignored his request and fiished my ciggie.

Who is right and wrong in this social 2016 scenario?

But the taxes I pay by smoking has benefits. I claim less resorces as I'll be dead by 70. It only helps turds stay alive longer in a misserable nursing home until they are 107.

Smokers are a neccesary resource... Can't you see that?

Who was there first...... If he sat his kids down whilst you were smoking he is at fault ..... If you lit up next to his kids you are an ass. But a legally in the right ..ass.... At which point it is up the bloke to move his kids.

If govt was truley serious in smoking prevention it would be outlawed!

Govt should therfore educate Turds so they understand that smokers are necessary and valuable contributors to our society.

Next time your drinking your cup of coffee I will come and do some rank farts.
If you ask me to move along I will tell you that I contribute to society more then you and will be dead by the time I am 70 due to my career choice hence costing less to the tax payer.

I don't know who was there first. Lets say we arrived at the same time and he picked a table four metres to where I was sitting. In a valid smoking zone.

Does it make a difference if the cafe was on a busy road?

I think I deserve credits for being interrupted, while I was talking on the phone

I reckon the turds kids will be hooked on ice by the time they are 16. The turd should chill out and not be so over protective.

Or he should call Derrin Hinch, like I suggested

If you were in a designated smoking area I'm with you, if he chooses to plonk his ruggies down in or adjacent to a designated smoking area that's his issue.

I'm an ex smoker who falls off the wagon and has a quick puff about once a month.

Im an ex murderer who falls off the wagon and has a quick snuff about once a month

But seriously smoking stressed baby man.

I thought you could not smoke within 20 odd meters of any building entrance anymore ala your coffee shop.

If theyre was AN ASHTRAY on the table on the otherhand. Im voteing for the derren hinch

otherwise your a dick...not for the smoking but for the mobile phone talking. If your that busy you aint got no time for no cuppa and a smoko chief :-)

The other guy how ever. Is a dickhead no matter the situation. Useing his kids as an excuse what a scumbag. If it was that big of a deal he could of done alot of other things.

I do miss a good nicky hit of royal and a cuppa. Shame those days are gone. And they are gone. Youll notice it after you quit that literally nobody smokes anymore. It becomes sureal when you see someone spark up a darb almost like a defensive reaction kicks off in your head like they have pulled out a syringe or a knife. Then you just watch them stand theyre looking awkward as ****, trying to not look awkward and deranged as they suck back the smoke... you know its smoke right? Just burning bits of some plant leaf.... so strange. Almost as strange as pouring water down your throat just to flush your body and rehydrate it. Suppose it has a purpose. You die if you quit drinking water. You get rich happy and really healthy if you quit smoking.

The guy probably sprays his crapper with some sweet smelling toxicity every morning too, right before he sprays whatever is in his deodorant directly up his nasal passages as he aims at his pits. He might even be in the same room as his beautiful wife and child when she sprays toxic perfume, hairspray and deodorant over herself too. Maybe they'll cop a bit of sidestream spray'n'wipe while she polishes the granite benches before they face the day. He hasn't even left the house yet. And sorry, but anyone sitting on the side of the road at a cafe is inhaling as much **** as any smoker might pollute their air with, probably more.

Perspective is a beautiful thing...

Ex-smoker here too. Each to their own. Can highly recommend a book called Easy Way to Stop Smoking.

If you cannot see that what you were totally in the wrong with your anti social behaviour, then no amount of explaining will change your mind.
I thought by reading you previous posts that you were a fairly intelligent person but you just opened your mouth and proved me wrong.

You most likely not contributing anything at the end, but draining social resources on medical care, more then taxes on cigarettes ever brought. If you need to spend your last few years of your life in hospital on intensive care unit, sucking oxygen from bottle and employing hordes of nursed dancing around.

If you want really save us, you may consider something more intriguing that smoking in the public space. Maybe parachuting , free flying on wings, deep diving, bull riding , huge wave sailing suit you more ?

If found solution to your problem that could satisfy all parties.
We could make use of old , not longer needed telephone cabins, due to mobile phone popularity,

Those cabins could be setup in strategic public spaces. To enter cabin you just drop $5 x coin to open the door . Inside you will find single free cigarette.
Now you could enjoy smoking in this complete sealed from environment cabin.

Passing by public may enjoy now safely view of archaic relic on the display. Kids could point fingers on you and laugh, others could spit on you with disqust.

But you are perfectly safe inside due to bullet proof glass, even is somebody try to stone you.

CigiBoot of the future.

This is non-intuitively, absolutely correct. Seriously! Why the red thumbs?!

Next time someone asks you to move because you are smoking just accept the compliment, wink, and move on.

So you would smoke around and in-front of kids? Your own kids even?

Smoking is a disgusting habit that most people are kicking.

Time for you to do the same bud (pun unintended)

Are you mob serious that you have a law over there, to the effect that outdoors you can't smoke near a juvenile?
WTF? WA has one where u can't smoke in a car or inside with kids and that of course makes sense

This no smoking in certain outdoor places thing is crap. Outdoors at the footy - yeah fair enough but ban it in parks or in the street? That's ridiculous, and near a kid is even dumber. I want to smoke 1m downwind of a kid why can't I? Because we legislate for the lowest common denominator

I think that public becomes generally more and more tolerant to different "deviants". Law too.
Gay and lesbians, crack and weed smokers, radicals and religion devotes. pornography and prostitution all may have place both in the media and in the front of public.I imagine that in the future all sorts of my CigiBoot may exist without any public opposition"

1) Drug distributor cabin : DrugBoot. Drug A dict or even other Hollywood superstar could openly enter the cabin and consume, inject safely distributed drug provided by vending machine inside

2) Erotomaniac may enjoy PornoBoot. Big display inside may screen the meaty porno pieces and potential kidnapper / rapper could safely watch the movie and even masturbate himself in full view of public.

3) Alcoholic don't need to be anonymous anymore. Public may accept view of somebody sipping vodka in the personal AlcoBoot, then automatic Google self driving taxi may come handy to transport tipsy to their home or work place

4)MusiBoot. Devoted insurgent could go inside and find small explosive charge. Now he/she could blow himself to pieces in full public view. Bullet and blast proof glass prevent public from any harm, but brave believer may now enjoy 60 fresh virgins in heaven. Automatic sprinkler and wiper will wipe bloody leftover from the glass inside and very next pilgrim is welcome to the journey.

5) SexBoot - If the hot pair is looking for cozy and discrete place to hide here it is. Do it in public in the glass translucent SexBoot. Beside noisy applause from the crowd for good performance, they deserve bonus from relieving public internet networks from streaming HiRes porno over to computers and cellphones.

6) There is still too early to put on the same addiction level to sweets and coffee but I am sure that public attitude towards Coffee and Sugar in few decades may be in par to that on nicotine right now. Anyway plans for CoffeBoot and SweetBoot may be drawn in advance now.
