I think it would have presented much better on tv if he had some nice colorful boardies on over the top of his wet suit.
I think that's why the clip was so short because the producers are very sensitive to that sort of thing.
Color tv & all that, you know.
Does anyone want to borrow my flouro fuscia budgie smugglers and give it another shot?

To add my 2 cents, why did he just sit there for like 2 seconds after the kite crashed, just waiting for it to power up. My girlfriend even said (who's been kiting for about 3 months) why didn't he just unhook or quick release. After 7 years you would think you would know better than to just sit there waiting for it to whip into a wall.

Wasn't hyped up on the show which was good to see though.

So has anyone found that post of Alex?

I am yet to have the pleasure of seeing the Galah in action.

Is there any youtube vids of his madness? (ive seen the board that will do 140km/hr video)

It just looked like a crash test dummy when he (it) hit the railing. Conspiracy?

Forum rule number 1: No abuse, insults or personal attacks. The thread has been deleted. There are a lot of grey areas on that rule, obviously, but the thread in question was pretty black and white.

Hey Guy,
I don't do flats, ok.
I don't kite mud.
I'm a wavehead.
That's why I have a licence to bag handlepasses.
I mean,
if there wasn't a 'handlepass', what would flatwater bandits do ??
Answer: More kiteloops.
But I do like kiteloops, they're cool.
I want to see end-over kiteloops.
But handlepasses generally just look a bit clunky for my liking.
Poleys call them 'spinny things'.
lol.

"Spinny things" - don't you just love it when people use that term......

I like to stay silent after hearing it, in anticipation of an even more embarrassing phrase.

I think it would be only embarrassing to kiters to call it that. Windsurfers wouldn't care what kiters moves are called so it won't be embarrassing to them.
