My 9'1 Creek and 9'6 Steeze left the Sunova Factory on Thursday and were in Florida Saturday.... No Sunday delivery.... so tomorrow they come!

I will do a stability test between the 9'4 and 9'1 Creeks and post it.
I am very interested to actually feel and see the difference between adjoining sizes, both stability and performance wise.

Small waves on tap for this week, hopefully there will be something to ride!

Just got the 9'4 creek, surfed nice 3 foot beach break and have to say it is outstanding,so easy to get over whitewater, speed to burn and more manoeuvrable than a lot of smaller boards I have had,at 96 kg thisboard feels perfect, have had 16 boards over the last 7 years and nothing has felt as good as this ,comes out of turns with easy acceleration, love those channels and what they provide, came in the blue to green colour and looks amazing can't stop dribbling over it,we have big swell forecast on the way and I just know by the feel it will perform, thank you to Bert and sup the creek you guys really got this one right

Mine is 100 miles away... gonna be a long morning waiting for DHL

I am also super stoked to get my 1st look at the Steeze!

Now.... which one will I take out first????

Opps, just checked delivery status, looks like they lost 1 piece ????

Damm all these board pics are making me anxious! Is that blue one a custom? Or do they do different colours?

i could be wrong about this but here goes ,,,,i asked too and they said maybe after april (next shipment) they will be blue .

so i'm guessing it's a second release ,?

i quite like the red....doesn't red go faster ?

I'd get the plain balsa one if I could, they seem bulletproof. Though never seen a creek in person.

Quick question on the paint on these boards. Is it tough? Does it chip easy?

I want the 9'1 creek but considering ordering a balsa finish. I had a nice jp once and it chipped like no tomorrow.

The paint seems rock solid, I smash my boards generally. This shows no signs of any damage. Go the coloured board apparently red and yellow is invisible to sharks....
Loving my 9'1, agree with what everyone says that once you go narrower and get your balance you wont go back. Loving the speed on a wave much faster than the hokua, loving my backhand now thanks to STC's advice, however I still find the hokua 'looser' but that could be just cause im an average overweight old guy...looking forward to others feedback on the 9'1..

Re loose performance -
what fins are you running Dave?
if youre running the stock fins, swap to something smaller

I may get shot down for this, but I prefer the Green part of that colour way more than the Blue.
I'd bet Sunova would just Green colour wash a Creek for me if I asked them..
Or that Teal that Core get their boards colour washed in..

Helmy,
Running the standard fins. AT 98KG thought they would work fine??? Where i mostly surf has been a week beach break with generally a pretty gutless wave. Nothing like what i see 'the creek' on in his vids.
