looks like it floats you well ,does it paddle as fast as your mana? probably feels less draggie being narrower .

I had a one foot day on a 11,4 Nalu .just as much fun .....still is a great board ,long board style Yeow .

Yeah it has plenty of volume - no hassles at all. Funnily enough, I tracked my paddle yesterday using the Garmin, and average paddling speed (was just cruising around) was 4.7kmh. Average on the Mana was 4.1kmh. Mind you, I was 20kgs heavier back then too, so that probably contributes, but overall the Speeed feels like a faster paddler to me, and I guess the .6kmh difference is part board, part weight loss and part fitness. Very happy with it

Have to agree 808. I remember when I was just a flat water paddler looking to get into SUP and I demoed three boards. Speeed 9'5, Hypernut 8'6, and Mana 9'5.
out of the three I found the Speeed to be the best and surprisingly the Mana the worst.
I now SUS an 8'8 Speeed (my prefered board) and it paddles into waves so nicely and is also great when going from break to break or for when paddling out long distances to a break. I can't imagine a better allround board for such a short length

The red has worn off on my tailpad as well.

Although I just sold my 9'0 and replaced it with the 8'9, so I can start wearing it off again :)

Hey Nozza, why do you sit when you can stand - especially when you can stand on "Nozza"?

Less wind affected sitting down.
And spreads the injuries to a different set of muscles.
And as you can see, my nearby locals are lacking waves for Nozza
Stand up preferred.

Nice one Noz' - she's a classy lookin vessel that outrigger! I reckon that'd get your core strength fairly sorted.

No need to start a new thread cob - sitting down or standing up - doesn't matter - as long as you're keeping the gills wet mate and sharing the stoke. Plus it's great to see some shots of the Island.

... now to convince the missus why the family will all better off with a 14' Search...

Took the little junior mango out for his first spin on the Style today. It was like paddlin' for two blokes and knackered me. But the little bloke loved it - and wants to go again tomorrow. I'm rapt.

Nice MD.
Used to love putting my 2 youngest and the pup on board my 10'10" Nalu.
We'd paddle out to a sandbar and frolic for hours.
Sometimes even tow an esky with a couple of coldies in it too!
Great entertainment for the passing boaties as well, watching us deal with the wash....
