A little miracle, alone on the French national day (July 14th).
It lasted only 30mn before the crowds began to pour in, but it was so enjoyable...

At Te Ahiaua "the pipi beds" near Opotiki. An early morning high tide plus sunshine....on my almost indestructable Bic Wing 12'6

Am actually desperately seeking another Bic Wing 12'6 if any one knows where one might be hiding on this side of the ditch....two are twice as good as one?

Hi Gizzie, one of my mates had one and loved it in glassy flat water days but sold it within Auckland.
Good luck ??

Tried to get my Bic Wing 12'6 to go for a river paddle & enjoy nature. But nah....it wanted to tie on a plastic milk crate and go catch a schnapper. At Hukuwai today....meaning is "where the fish splash"

One of those epic days that comes around every now and then, lots of waves to be had by all, they were coming in very regularly.

Rockaway Beach NYC

Was in NY in August this year and caught the ferry out to Rockaway - amazing beach, but no surf the day we were there, just a swim on a hot sunny day

My local beachie early this morning. We had a horror run of strong onshores last week, which seems to have piled the sand into a new bank. Just me and one other out for 2 hours

yeah surf days are few, and the beach has no protection, but I love the one surf-able day a week that I get out there!!

Apologies Supper - been off the forum for a few weeks and only just saw your post. Lorne main beach (not exactly a super secret spot!). Actually had quite a few offshore days with swell around this part of the coast this summer - quite unusual

Got my 1st SoloShot session in Florida since I arrived in early December.
It was a waning longer period swell and rising tide, so there was 20-30 minutes between catchable waves.
That was good in away.... no one else was out and the beach was empty

I rode the 9'6 x 34" Ghost
Quad setup: 4.7" fronts - 3.6" rears
It was fun but basically a one turn ride before the waves flattened out, so video was pretty useless except for stills.
Such a perfect, beautiful day, it was special just to be on the water

I was at Crunchies that morning and it was awesome conditions. I'm no tech guru but what is the device you are using to record your surf's.
