Geez.. How did you know i'm born lazy.

I have given my opinon many times through this post it hasn't changed.

In general, be good people, think of someone else, staying home may save a life or many more. The transmission rate is scary. Surfing isn't essential, a few weeks out of the water won't kill you like this virus could to your relatives.

The economy will recover, it always does only the time that varies.

Social issues like family members dying are the things you always remember and struggle to get over.

Financial problems can usually be fixed.

And saying that was the rant of a bloke that likes to dress in foil is my honest option.

I don't do extremist, I don't do right and left politics. I don't buy into a lot of the anti gov rubbish, I don't do mis-representing statistics. It is of no use.
It's a never before seen thing that is being dealt with a certain way and you can like it or whine but that's how it's being done so get on with it.

To me that is the spirit of our ancestors. Not whining about a parade being cancelled.

You should take the time to watch it.
Glad you have a lazy 10K to drop into the economy.
My entire family who have been put out of work by the Covid-19 restrictions look forward to your money filtering down to us peasants.
Since I haven't had a holiday in 5 years but have done more travelling in my life than most people have had hot dinners I'm quite enjoying myself at home.

Correct, the jackasses do as they please.

Ignorant of their rights and also their responsibilities.

As long as people are acting in accordance with their social responsibilities, distancing, obeying restrictions specific to their location. Then they have the right and responsibly to move around freely.

Not everyone out and about are jackasses. Those that are deserve what they deserve.

In QLD they have re-badged all the "speed" cameras to "need" cameras. They will be spitting out fines like a crazy.

Nice! And I hope one of the good things after all this is people do start supporting Australian made products & we manufacture more locally.

I'm with ya, drinking my Australian made beer after surfing some fun Australian made waves with one other bloke.

Came in an police were parked beside me & I wondered if laws had changed in WA overnight. I wouldn't have known coz I quit watching the news again a few days ago after getting tired of the sensational BS. They were checking people were self isolating in the house over the road after returning from overseas. We had a good chat & they agreed with my ideology on all this adding their own similar theories. Was a good chat

Normally you can find heaps of gyprock sheets for free along the Sunshine motorway at Maroochydore. People drive straight out of Bunnings and onto the motorway and swaaaap...there go the gyprock sheets.

Our shire had closed all beaches from midnight Thursday to midnight Monday to allegedly keep people away.
That is as in totally closed, no access, no walking, no swimming, no surfing , nothing. They helpfully provided a "Dob in a beachgoer" phone number, that is actually the police Community Liason line. I can see that being welcomed by the police.
Some beaches at popular surf spots or in towns I can understand, but this is the beach I walk to from my house without crossing a road or interacting with anyone. This was the weekend before last that was quite warm, and the start of the school holidays.
View each way from where I put the 666 in....

There would be hundreds of kilometres of beaches in the shire that are less busy than this.
I will abide by the rules, but surely closing all the car parks and on street parking nearby would thin the numbers sufficiently.
It worries me the Council, once they have discovered and used these powers will be trotting them out for other things.
Hopefully the weather will be as crappy as usual and limit the dissappointment.

No sympathy for those that refuse to make an effort or take the 'she'll be right approach', it's really not that hard.........(critical services workers exempted of course) Sympathy will be for those that suffer due to the selfish attitudes shown in the thick of a crisis.

Over & out.
