Our Premier in Victoria (Danial Andrews) has said that people with two principal places of residence may travel between them provided they comply with social distancing and other regulations at both locations. Travel between the two is not breaking the law in Victoria.
Not withstanding that, I have lived here for periods of up to 4 years. I am a ratepayer in the shire. This time I have been here for three weeks, and have no plans to leave in the foreseeable (or unforeseeable) future. I have not even been to the supermarket.
And at the moment I am allowed to go to the beach to exercise. I don't get in a car, cross a road, or see anyone.

Laws a bit different here - but basically with a few exceptions the residence you were at midnight Monday the 23rd of March is where you are supposed to reside for 4 weeks - from the mouth of the policewoman yesterday .
lucky for us on that date we were at our beach house
