You should see the Miami stretch, business as usual, Snapper would blush!
Funny thing is though, where you can't park right there, lot less people in the water.

I was sure Cobra posted something about the only things left to do were wanking and drinking.
Where I am holed up in Bass Coast, they have shut the beaches over easter for everything - walking, swimming, no access.
Today the Victorian Government banned human powered water sports - paddling, surfing, kayaking.
I guess it's wanking and drinking from here on in

Don't get it mate - sure Coronavirus is a terrible thing but if they aren't careful the deaths from suicide / depression are going to be up there with the deaths from the disease .
One of the daughters mates committed suicide few weeks back -the family had to rush the funeral through before the numbers were cut back to 5 - time's are really ****ed

No joke, I have serious issues with depression. And too much alcohol. Edit
If that is a word,- , I put that in because I don't want to admit what my problem is
I had , I'm searching for the word, telehealth session with my psychiatrist today.
She advised me to (i'm debating how honest to be here but it may help others) to get out there and ignore warnings.'
Getting on the water is what keeps me alive.

Would have taken plenty of guts to admit that on a surfing forum . Nice to read you are talking to the professionals and keeping active .
We have 1 in the family with depression / anxiety issues - been a hell of a battle to get him out of the house for the last year - now with the stay at home message it's near impossible .Certainly has set him back quite a bit . Proven fact that getting outside , especially out on the water , is great for mental health .

Lockdown is dangerous for my health. I've just started coughing uncontrollably, I've got the sweats and am having trouble breathing. I know stomach problems are on the way.
The neighbours must be freaking out because they can all hear us coughing.
The house will probably be surrounded by a rapid response team in Germ warfare gear before I finish typing this post.
I'm sure it's because of the big C.
Not the dreaded Covid-19 though.
The big C of Chilli.
My wife has been cooking with unparalleled gusto and I'm not sure if I'll survive.
Exibihit A: Fried pork and Basil leaves with a minefield of Chillis and a fried egg.

Done it heaps m8 (Abs on BBQ)...just put a couple bricks in plastic bags, beat the crap out of the Abs. Mix soy sauce, cream & garlic together. Get the BBQ cranking on high, pour on the sauce followed by the Abs & stir it around for about 60 to 90 seconds. Bloody beautiful!

Wish I was there to share that meal with ya

Got no issues with getting my problem out there.
Since it first became apparent maybe 10 years ago I have been fully open, even with employees about what is going on.
Helps explain my sometimes strange behavior.
I am also fortunate in the depression scale of things I'm pretty minor.
But day 1 off the water I'm feeling it.

Nothing strange in your behaviour mate. It's life and if more people realised it the less people wouldn't hesitate talking about their feelings.

Mick and Mick it was unbelievable . cooked it 15 minutes wrapped in alfoil with garlic salt , tomatoes and butter - melt in your mouth . Have never been a big fan of abalone until now . Previous experiences has been like trying to chew leather ??.Believe it's up around $100 a serve in the restaurants .

Still here - I'm not going anywhere. The lonely grave used to be a good spot, but the housing development over the last few years has spoilt it a lot.
I'll let you know about meeting - it's the sort of thing I find very difficult

it is so so so ****n early with numbers.
if you look at the death toll verse contracted cases ,last i looked was running just under 5% was lower at start.
why do people say,,,, influenza kills thousands a year and we don't stop the country...
.stop thinking this is influenza FFS influenza A & B runs about 1%. influenzas are a runny nose compared to this.
people stay at home and stop looking for bull**** reasons to leave your home. **** i would hate to see how their self entitled kids behave .

Where do your stats come from and for what country?
Latest stats from Australia:
www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-health-alert/coronavirus-covid-19-current-situation-and-case-numbers.
7 News gave the figure of 5103 cases with 23 deaths so far.

I'm crap at maths but isn't that 0.451 percent?

world mate, forget aussie stats gee we are nearly two months behind the northern hemisphere.
umm 936,438 covid cases with 47,251 deaths. you do the math. it Started off lower think i remember was 1.8%
its early days.

Ok. So correct me if I'm wrong but thats 0.050 percent?

5%
