They have to have at least a sticker on them showing their country of origin (by law) so easy enough to check if looking at them in the shop.
Years ago I bought a Webber afterburner or something at a local surf shop. Wasn't until a bit later I noticed the itty bitty sticker right down on the tail with "Made in Thailand".
On a side note I was standing next to my parent's Holden rodeo ute and saw the little sticker on the windscreen that was written in Thai. A a look in the engine bay...Isuzu...made in Thailand!
