Huge day at town beach sunday morning......just me and the kneeboarder about the only ones out for the first hour. Towball was there on the beach and then he vanished......the kneeboarder said he had whimped off home.....I was leaning towards the theory he had gone to get his 666 lol
I was feeling quite safe and comfortable.......helmet.....new leggie.....impact vest.....new rear handle on board.....no worries :)
blowing like forty bastards here some nice waves though
a few more people in the water all the soft cocks that don't like the cold
aye mac
blowing here to TB - not that hard but we lack any real swell. Looks like its mountain biking for me today.
Good morning boys and girls, just hang around the beach near the villa yesterday and watched learners get hammered by a unfreindly shore beak

Morning lads filthy northerlies and three days up my sleeves I have been working the last four months at a nursing home on the coast and once a week a fellow comes in to sing to all the oldies he is a Maori or Tongan fella maybe mid forties built like a brick you know what and really good looking. He wears a suit and mingles amongst the crowd and every now and then has a dance with one of the old girls who can still get around, he will go to some of the oldies who are bed bound hold their hands and sing softly into their ears he has the most incredible voice. The oldies love him and you can feel the warmth and happiness he brings to them Im not religious but he is the closest thing to an angel I have ever seen.
I also work with a Maori nurse who is one of the most experienced nurses I have ever seen with palliative care, she keeps a fresh bottle of sea water and when things get hard for her emotionally she sprays herself with sea water to cleanse and focus. It got me thinking just how nice it is when you get to the beach summer or winter do that first duck dive and feel lifes troubles wash away. Just thought I would share some thoughts
Cheers Boof
Read your post after my surf this morning boofy...you made my day. Then again my day was already made after my feet hit the Saltwater.
For all the bad in the world that we see....well I still see so many things that are just ****ing amazing..... Goodness is still everywhere, we just don't t share it enough. Thanks for the thoughts boof
Great story Boofy,I know what you mean mate.My wife is an AIN & I work as a gardener/maintenance for a 150 bed retirement home plus 39 other self care units here. Most of the older people are champions,l love having a chat & a joke with em & do my best to make the gardens outside their windows of their rooms look nice with colourful plants etc,it brings a smile to their faces.I've had a couple of them actually fill in forms to the Manager of how good the grounds look & love getting out there with their families that visit them.I love doing it,it doesn't pay that well but just talking to the older people & having their appreciation of what I do makes it all worthwhile.
Good on that fella for bringing some happiness to people that are nearing the end of their lives!..
BTW,Boofy you're not from the Coffs Harbour area are you?..
