Had a surf at inside Bommie at my local, it's been a dreadful few weeks in Sydney for surf, nothing but mild days and zero swell, I really only went out to prove to myself that I could still manage to pull on a wetty over my gut.

But it turned out to be one of those serendipitous afternoons when Mother Nature took a shine to me and provided some waves in my own little takeoff zone.

When I first got out the back, I sat out there in front of 3 shortys for 15 minutes and got zilch then I saw a peak about 50 metres north, paddled over to it and never stopped getting acceptable waves for almost an hour. It was like I had found my place in the ocean or the ocean had found a place for me.

Even when another LB paddled out, we still had plenty to share.

Always said you were 'Special' Ob, good on ya mate!

Fun waves on the longboard today. Arguments with knobs that ride 666's could not even ruin it

We still have heaps at home and we love them. But in the Surf they just don't work with some people. Same as any kook story that could be told,it was just rude greedy kooks riding them that could not find their owns bank blah blah blah

We`ve have a pretty big swell on the west coast over the last few days but the conditions weren`t that flash till today.
This morning was alright the wind turned offshore from about 8am till 11am then swung N.W. and it was game over (where I was anyway).
Was really foggy early, when it cleared I took this photo and hit it. Ended up getting some nice pits. Stoked.

I hope so as I am almost there Another day and a half to get through and then will make my way down Thursday arvo hoping for some Friday action if all goes well and the wind behaves itself. Very warm down here at the moment although the suspect the water temp will not be

Thats a great pic agnak - thanks for sharing - any pics of your quiver? We love quiver pics in here

Asea you tell good stories. Had just north of the neck was solid 4ft with some bigger bombs sneaking through. We'll groomed and glassy. Pick the right ones and you were smiling. Got 3 crackers, last one was a smoking tube, thought it was going to close and smash me,but no just opened right up and sped out the end. Got out after that

Was a **** paddle to get out. Was **** trying to stay in one spot. The CLEARWATER is a weapon

Asea you would have been huffing and puffing and turned back to the sand. No longboards where I was.

Mac tomorrow is looking even better up here I cannot wait YEEEEEEEW
