Had a bloody frothing hour here this morning ... was hoping for a bit bigger, but a clean 2-3ft with some great lefts and rights .... even a penguin in the line up ... (yes you read it , penguin). Had a super surf!

Had a few at Kirra ..only 2 mal riders out ...not exactly mal friendly ..strong current and dredging off the big groyne ...the beach has gone next to the rock wall, rocks the size of cars exposed ..so paddled out at green mount beach ...5 mins later was sitting 200 mters south of the RW ... 3 waves later I'm 300 mtrs or so south of the little groyne ...some nice peelers 1.5 to 2 mtr faces coming through off the little Groyne and well worth the effort .

Had a great few days on the GC last weekend with a few of the breezers.

Super big thanks Mac, Vanders, GWatto and Lacey for the Board Hire, surf talk, coffee and good vibes.

Waves were fun but fair to say I had two shocker sessions but did manage a few fun ones to keep the stoke. Probably christening one of Macs boards didn't help but fair to say I need to go a bit harder when there's a crowd...

Thanks again boyz and looking forward to the next trip...

Good stuff Andy, if you got a few fun ones you did well. Pretty much the busiest place in Oz

Epic waves at the local today, I had one of those magic days of being in sync or just lucky to be in the right place all the time. Stoked

Totally, surfed the local beachy with Steve today and had loads of fun, waist to shoulder high clean runners on the 7"6" Flat Tracker (LOVING the glide of this board) and Steve surfing really well on one of his numerous Hypto's (lost count of how many he has

Was fun on the Goldy but waves wise, i'll take a fun cold water wave with 3-4 out cruising any day

Swell dropped heaps with just the occasional head high wave, but very few out. Surfed the shortie for a couple of hours & then switched to the longboard when I got tired. Another day in paradise

At my local .... 2 ft and a bit, fairly quick wave that made it fun .., but really warm water .. I did get the best left I have had in ages though ... super stoked with that. What made the morning ... only surfed for 60mins, small crown and a really high wave count ... tired arms now

Crumbly, weak and moody this morning.

But regardless, always fun on a big Ol' 10 footer on a Friday
