well brother Lance (cleverly & downright sneakily disguised as a Bikie) & I sussed out the conditions first thing ..... we came to the conclusion it was very messy lumpy shizz bit like a Hamster spitting out runny porridge .... but it is starting to change a bit so maybe a bit later on we might get lucky surf
Geez it was good to get a few waves in ... not perfect but there were some decent clean ones before the wind picked up again .... the Fish styled a few in I might add .... bumped into Mister Shapers himself yesterday in the big van , picked up a couple of bargains for the Fish (new leggie to replace his busted one & a set of bites) yehaaaaaa
Great morning here. Tucked into a nice corner with the wind blowing south. Nothing of size, but nice and clean.
Return of the kook today, its been a long while but I got into some this morning, nothing epic but was a magic day in the water we had a whale cruise about 100 meters away heading south.
Lance & I snuck out for a few pretty small offerings today - dark clouds & dolphins few big whales out deep
Yeah we were a little early this morning for the predicted swell but my last wave was worth the wait. Lacey said the same thing, a year or two back you would see a couple out in those conditions but today 15 out in very ordinary stuff, I guess surfing got real popular.
Took us quite a while to work out the best way of getting out the back to the take-off zone
Listened to a bloke that said 10'ers only, so I left the 11'11 at home.........what an idiot I am!!!
Still got more waves though than I would have staying at home so I'm happy.
Good stuff mate^I scored some nice 3 to 4 foot right handers at the reef this morning on the 10 footer, beautiful morning and the water is great
