Nah mate, 10' whalebone. Pretty clean early but wind affected by the end, very shallow & breaking fast.

Better than nothing though.

Oh yes it is....banks are great and the big girl will be out...no driving, no crowds and plenty of waves yeeeeeoooooooooow.

Today was picture perfect...except I had a shorty instead of a longboard...yet a midlength would have been even better

1.5hrs of un crowded (just me) heaven after the World Cup opener. Couple decent sets but mostly 3ft hollow rights - lefts were a bit fat. I sniggered when getting back to the car park seeing a few cars pull up - felt like saying 'you should have been here earlier' but I just smiled n told them they would have a ball. Glad you boys been getting some. Looks like it was bigger up yr way Climber - hope we get that in the morning

Had a ball up here. Fat take off's but with some nice big walls. Would go fat again until the next section. Glassy with a nice.rip to drag my sorry arse back out. Size did start to.drop a bit near the end. Great morning and I don't want to talk about how good the water is as I don't want to jinx it.....also had a bunch of whales breaching not to far away which was pretty cool faces out of five

It was the perfect longboard day. Waist high with a few head high ones after long waits. Could not have been any glassier. Slight offshore blowing and waves just peeling right along the bank to the beach....pretty stoked I scored a few proper noserider after cross stepping to get there....still tend to shuffle back at times. This habit seems harder to break. Just a great day to own a longboard.
out five

Good score Chrispy,me well I had to drop a board off to Byron so left home at 5.30 with a couple of CW dudes. It was so crap we hide the board in the McT compressor shed and shut the door ,our back seat surf guide guru used his freshly uploaded coastalwatch ap and made the call to head back home,we were shocked at how good it was compaired to Byron. We all scored some nice ones for the next couple of hours before hitting the coffee shop and then it was off for a coaching session.

i'll leave the rest for the other two
Tip one you have to be unlocked to load.

Yes an early morning it was, left home at 4:20am, as mac said sadly Byron was a no go, so ignoring Lacey's pleading to stay & give it time to clean up I made the decision to head back north (drivers privilege). On arrival at Snapper we were met with clean glassy 1'-2' sliders & a surprisingly small crew out.

We proceeded to take ownership & got our share, I also had my resident surf coach providing some tips & guidance which was greatly appreciated resulting in some nice long rides and a changed technique.

Anyway a great morning had by all involved.

Got a couple of hours in today...late start.
Spent and hour on the 906 and had fun, then the wind went offshore and falling tide so the waves stood up .. onto the SB
Swell is all but gone now, dropped off from a fun 2ft plus to very little now...
Always tomorrow

Sunday had the best log type waves I think I have ever had at main just peeling perfect with enough suck to really play without getting through the fat section

Today I changed my routine as i was buggered...slept first after work, woke up at eleven and hit the local. Wind just started to pick up and put some bump on it. But what a surf....long long walls to play on,pull off early or have a long bitch of a paddle back. Pretty much by myself. This is now my new favourite time of day to surf...
Will see how my night goes.....as I'm already started to feel the post surf bliss making me tired.. Would post pics but the new seabreeze phone things will not let me anymore

late arvo with a workable bank. Shape was really really nice. Just nice A frames on a beach break. What it lacked in size it made up for in shape.
Was a really fun afternoon surf. Small crowd, warm clear water.
Hope we hold some size for tomorrow....its dropping

Glad you getting some Climber - I have not even been to the beach this week with a board - stayed in Dee Why last night but got there after dark and left at 5:30am this morning whilst still dark. Staying in Sydney CBD Thurs night and hoping to be back home Friday early arvo to get wet again. Ahhh this has been a terrible week to be a surfer.

Finally I feel like a surfer again. Have spent the whole week away from home working with no surf time. Got home at 2pm and raced to the beach to be greeted by some lovely 3 footers on the sets. Long lulls and the high tide was not helping but its was bloody great fun. Stoked. Now I am going to rip the top off a cold one and put the feet up. Should be in bed by 7pm!

had a ball at burleigh yesterday. Very small but some perfect runners, thank **** I own a really big board. Also I watched nature's very own protection racket. A eagle was flying around while some sort of sea bird was ducking under and grabbing fish. Sea bird would surface and eat one, then dive back under and grab another....the eagle would then fly down and grab the snack. It was one of the coolest things I have ever watched second surf this arvo was fun but way smaller

Then today we had head high glass, the smile ****ing loved it,the new midlength would have loved it more surfed until my arms could move me no more...brilliant
