Mac and lacey sitting bone dry and like royalty at their local coffee establishment
Told lacey it was primo, he told me it was crap....I was right and left just as the crowd got mental
Got three smokers and was still pretty happy with that, not getting one drop in made it all the more special

Mac said it was not a longboard day,he might be right,or he might be wrong....I'm glad I was not on my longboard I know that....then again the hp would have liked it,maybeseabreeze is not letting me post pics again, sorry crew

no way to fast and too much water moving around for a lb. why you would be sitting pretty the next thing duck diving to avoid a smoker on the head.

chrispy i know this is a bit weak, but by the time i went to the alley , saw it was rubbish, went home for the platypus and got back to lm to was really lining up.

must say i nearly stop at kirra.

still not fussed on a crowd with no regard for anyone else but themselves- risky business.

did you enjoy your coffee

Haha I'm just stirring ya both. Like I said glad I was not out there on my longboard.
Also like i said to you kirra was probably not as good a wave, but was more user friendly. And yep....I'm way over that place and the rude,no idea and the dicks that just act like drift wood. I think if I'm traveling down that far,I will keep driving to another place also I should know better,it was pretty much the only place on the goldy that was good but hey I scored a couple

very messy alley and most others place except coolie which is just packed from kirra to coolie and that's just the car parks. people putting on wet suits everywhere.

call me a idiot, but I would rather see the surf stay at 2 or 3 ft and everywhere has waves rather than just one or two spots worth surfing even if its bigger.

btw. lm is going off but I canning today

Had a blast surfing my local point instead of going to Noosa (what was I thinking?) and patiently waited for the set waves.
Worth the wait...most fun I've had in ages.
And the cool thing is it supposed to keep on keepin' on.

What a morning. Big lumpy waves, where the experts get four foot from astounds me. They were the normal ones. The faces were clean, but it was not perfect. Yet with the grey skies, pissing rain and stiff wind.....well **** it felt amazing to be in amongst it.
Wish I had no work tonight as I'm spent.

My thought/tip of the day. When sitting around having a yak, keep and eye out....I got pulverised by a random set....another I learnt, when you catch a small one,be assured a bomb set will land on your head paddling back for being soft

6ft plus a few bigger sets that had me scratching for the horizon and failing - long long lefts - old school measurement. The Hawaiian staying next to us was calling it 5ft - hoax!! Heaven. Best waves in a very very long time. Worth the price of admission Tom should be similar

The most amazing surf I have had since my injury. I am beyond words. Have already organised for tomorrow night off. It was getting outta my league near the end of the day,so if it continues it will be a day of taking photos.
As for today, well on wave I got tubed three times. Not head dips, not a cover up,just full blown deep in the guts. ****ing amazing next midlength I get will have more rocker though

Nice work Chrispy. Still fairly big here - yest we took a boat to a far away Island and scored big time. Heaven. Heaving pits all day long. Took a chunk out of my board this morning. Annoying but not a train wreck. Marched over the reef last night Chrispy holding my camera kit above my head - got there and back in one piece. Will post some pics when I get back to base and get a decent connection. Classic trip this one - the only times I have not surfed has been because it's been too big for me

Sounds awesome Chrispy, nothing like a nice barrel

Can't wait to see some pics Ted, must be one hell of an epic trip if its been too big to surf sometimes wow

Winds were decent for the first time in ages here. But I missed out due a pre-engagement up to the big smoke Had some great Chinese food though

I knew you would go beyond the call of duty rhino
Two surfs at burleigh today. First one was the most fun, second one got a bit sketchy for me. Crowd factor was pretty good, and the manners were better. I did struggle to get out off the point I still don't understand how they call it four foot. Tomorrow sounds like it's going to be all time. So the camera is charged and I'm looking forward to getting some pics

Got a few good ones yesterday but the majority of my waves were plagued by drop ins.
The swell had dropped from having double overhead set waves to head to head and a half overhead so it seemed there were a lot of surfers out there that were now able to charge the shoulders on them.

To a man the drop ins would make sure they didn't look on their inside as they paddled on.
A solid tactic that...they can then innocently claim that they didn't see you so you then have to whistle, Oi, yew, Yo or whatever constantly while paddling in on every wave.
Hopefully Thursday, Friday has the size come back up again and it will be back to business again.
