1 ft with the occasional 2 footer but very weak / soft. Wind is brisk and offshore - it really feels like winter is upon us now. Ouch! Water is still relatively warm though if you are keen to get wet.

Wind is very brisk up here 2, 50 km plus winds, supposedly was a bit bigger earlier up here before the wind got up but blown any swell back down.

In desperation I went in at freshy, only because it had some protection from the off shore.

I got about 3 in an hour and I consider myself damn lucky to get them.

BTW, I tried out disposable contacts for the second time, a complete biatch to put in, but they do help me out in the surf.

Maybe now I won't be dropping in so much

Auckland so sometimes I consider myself very lucky to have 2 coastlines to choose from and other times I curse the fickleness of the place...is 'fickleness' even a word?

HOAX AGAIN!!!!

get down to rainbow- no mac, no chrispy, no boofy. the surf looks all right but crowded and a bit tight for a sup.

so i'll go to the toilet. this guy on park bench starts talking to me. great' this bum will be trying to get money out of me to buy beer or metho or something.

well its'''' boofy''', he texted mac, mac says his coming, we look around- nothing.

just another lb forum hoax

anyway i go back to the alley which is starting cook.

just about to come in when i guy on a shortboard rides a long the broken wave then falls off and hits my board as i'm prone paddling out- result ding in my board. didn't say a thing or sorry- typical shortboarder

bloody kook shortboarders. honestly, if they can't surf stay away from the crowds and learn somewhere were they won't hit people.

he could have put that board right through me- their bloody dangerous- ban them from point breaks i say
