The inflatable you see are about $400,00 to $600,000. My mate works for company building them and he is responsible for finishing them and fitting out. That's how i got the info regarding actually killing/shooting sharks. But to be honest the boat should only be about $250000 but its all the bull**** that goes into these things for there personal comfort. Things like not just a stereo with i pod dock and two speakers. They need full Fusion CD, I pod doc units with built in memory. Amps, subwoofers and about a trillion speakers. They instead of needing a computer screen on one console they have a bout three replication the one unit. The radios, VHf, and communication products needed to be tested for Micro wave radiation, so now they Just in case carry not one but two satellite phones. The seats are about $15000 each and are heated and cooled for there driving comfort. Each boat had to be refitted with toilets after they employed there first female officer. (no biggie there as she needs a toilet, but every boat?) Special colour tint windows that will help with fatigue.
Sounds like they'd be good for an indo run
Just read JBShacks comments re the fisheries vessels. What a full blown dickhead!! Talk about a halfwit with half the information. The RIBs he referred to don't belong to Fisheres. They are privately owned. The mother vessel is the North Islander - an ex Abrolhos Islands carrier boat and also not Fisheries. Yes the other vessel Hamelin is Fisheries. It was built by Western Boat Builders in 2001. There are no Fisheries RIBs in the pictures.
The seats in Fisheries boats are KAB524s. They do not cost anything like $15,000 but if you want to know then ring KAB. They are built for trucks and heavy machinery. They are not heated or cooled. They have suspension and so they should if your crew spend 30 years bouncing around on them in a high speed boat. They last the life of the boat which should be about 20 years. I don't think the Government would want numerous lawsuits from crippled employees.
The toilets were retrofitted in two boats to keep the construction price down. If they were put in before survey the requirements would have been much greater and more expensive. The toilets are portapotties - very cheap. I don't expect you to understand this as you are a bitter halfwit.
The three screens you are talking about are for the plotter GPS, sounder and internet, the last one so that licenses can be checked at sea so you dont have to employ another person back on land to look these things up - a very big saving if you think about it.
The satellite phones were put in two vessels (one in each) as these vessels operate in remote areas in the north of the state where Next G and VHF have no service. The only other option is HF and if you knew anything you would know this is less reliable than ever as almost no one uses it anymore. It had nothing to do with radiation you dickhead.
The boats do not have tinted windows as it is not permitted under survey.
The stereo has two stereo speakers and one sub - So What!!!
I bet the boat builder would be please to know one of his customers is being badmouthed by one of his employees. You must be one good mate to let that slip.
You are a classic case of it being far better to keep your mouth shut and have everyone think you're a dickhead than opening your mouth and proving it. I can't wait to read what you think you know about killing sharks. Why dont you and your mate climb back under your rock.
