I checked a once a year novelty wave, but it was not working... not enough swell getting into it.

I went out at a once-in-a-lifetime novelty wave. Got one or two. Quite a crowd. Suba? No, someone else nuts enough to wear boardies. Horizontal rain sucked.
Saw waist to chest high wind waves breaking on the sandbar at Point Walter!!

its all lining up for the early low tide 6+mt swell wsw wind.weird for this time of year just saw a surg go up the boat ramp at hillarys and into the carpark

I wouldn't get too excited. I suspect by the time the wind abates and co-operates there will be very little swell left around Perth
got down there at 6am enough swell ,tide was higher than predicted, wind still had to much west ,heaps of weed 
mabey late morning
