guess where we went today (it's not a secret but I aint tellin coz i got warned by a "local" about photos and facebook and secret spots as a 4wd freeway was operating in full swing on the beach - so i'm not facebookin them

Well here's the plan...next few days spent winning points with sammich maker then..GAME ON! 
No surf so went for drive and found a high tide line from way back...Tsunami even?...found it about 20k's inland and scored some great fossils.
Found a lot of squid ones checked'em out on the WWW, says their a few million yrs old (300 even?)
If your into that sorta stuff and want a couple give us a yell. Their called a Belemnoidea?

Da Point was firing this morning with some impressive surfing happening. The beaches were pretty straight though and there were heaps of stingers.
I couldn't get down early - and by the time I finally got there the wind had turned, but apart from that it was a mad-house. Swimmers in with the surfers, comps and the usual sunny day learners... After checking three seperate beaches I decided to give it a miss. Fingers crossed for tomorrow - but I'll probably get robbed again.
