Just back from the Kununurra rodeo, what a ****en MAD night!!
Was having a beer with Russ Ord and he's goin "these blokes are ****en nuts!!"

And that's coming from a bloke that swims around The Right at twenty foot with a camera in his hands.

This is one crazy town. Do yourself a favour and make a date for the muster this time next year. Some of the craziest $hit I've ever seen.

Seriously what sort of a mind sprouts the idea of tying a rope around the bollocks of a thousand pound bull, yanking it a dozen times then jumping on its back and opening the gate??

Just utter madness and such a great bunch of people, no aggro at all just one big happy hoedown.

Incredible night.

Chest to shoulder clean beachie... shape was off and on, but the the best thing apart from the sunshine was the complete lack of crew... surfed for 2.5hrs and only had to call a wave once.

Had a fun surf this arvo with my son and a mate with his boy. Absolute cleanest water I've seen in some time. A few nice waves rolling in but was a little busy. Bagged a few and now watching "Super Shark" on DVD. Funniest movie ever

Well I was having a beer with Russ Ord, that's gotta be enough of a connection doesn't it Damo?

Regardless I'm off to dinosaur land in a few hours chasing a metery and I don't have the time to spare wasting it chewing the cud over semantics with you.

Shut up and go to school

I think the strength in the swell today caught a few off guard.

Some solid fun waves hour south of Perth.

Hope you got some Bakesy

That looks like a bit south from where I was and I dont think we got more than 8 in the water up our direction

How much fun was that little session. Surfed the local to sunset, truck load of west in the swell which gave it some real energy considering the period was down. Got a couple of bombs and couple of beltings. Yeeew, got to love winter.

That looks sick Damo, that the bombie not too far from your local?

Negative on the metery, but I dropped one that would've gone damn close and got another 15 up to about 85cm along with some nice Jacks, Fingermark, Threadies etc. Bloody good couple of days but I'm knackered now.

Trigg was clean this morning with a few banks providing some shape. Smaller than yesterday but the early birds scored a few, unfortunately the rising tide and dropping swell will kill it as the day goes on.

Yewwwwww, got some nice ones before a couple of dudes paddled out and started hassling and dropping in, ruined the vibe. Great day though!

I was walking out the door to go for a surf and then assumed it would be 5hit and wound up in the library reading about bloody rat fish.

I get the feeling I made the wrong call today.

Did exactly that myself today! Completely buggered (& sick) now though as I've been in UK and Ireland for six weeks holidaying it up with next to no exercise. Was worth it though - ended my session just before 2pm with a barrel on a well known metro beachie. Just stood there and slouched a bit, the wave did the rest. Might as well have been in Hawaii - some of the best banks in years IMO. You just have to look around to find them.
