Northern beachie - nearly a LAGO with shoulder to head high sets and only a mate and myself out on a right hand bank - a little bit inconsistent but still fun! I'd checked it at 9:00am when it was blowing too much and there was about 12-15 out... so decided to chance an arvo sesh... glad I did.

^^^^^ Was it a bit big smicko or just no banks?

Another really fun local session with punchy steep waves and a small cruisy crew, good weekend of waves close to home.

It was just kinda crap Zuke. Tide more than anything. Wasn't really much swell at all, certainly nothing like was forecast.

dawn patrol across the channel, horrid northerly chop there and back
tide a bit hi for the "strickly" locals only spot
but a few ok ones to be had
crowd maxxed at 11-12
left by 10am as the floating gin palaces started rolling in.........

a few other boats checked it out and went elsewhere

Waves were good this morning, my surfing was not

Would love to put a time laps camera on the bank I was on, me and a few others in the pre dawn glow then BANG there is 30 ha ha

I think I need a narrower board for those fast late drops, saw some make them today and get shacked, all I got was sand in my ears...

Lumpy, crappy Cove this am.

Saw this posted elsewhere, after I came in, and felt pumped and depressed in equal parts.

Smaller waves, same crowd factor.

Clean conditions and although chilly really nice morning and still worth it.

Chose the wrong board today, cant win lately ha ha

Funny bugger!

The un-funny thing is that you are probably going to be right 98% of the time...

The swell that was here is fading into the weekend, however light winds may result in waves offshore or down south

Smart move putting the second-hand boards up on Gumtree by the way. The McCoy in particular looks pretty mint, love the spray job.
