Local shaper ex Scarborough boy, Aido Shepard has shaped some retro boards for the movie....look sweet
A real nice guy to boot.
I jumped in to what seemed to be small and slow, but it was actually super fast and hollow so struggled on the wrong board. But was nice to get wet again. Another local was on fire and snagged a few rippers
SO went back out on Sunday, Still hollow but smaller. First time I've tried my EVO out their and what a difference from the day before. It loved the conditions and made for much easier steeper take offs. Nothing to special, but super fun still to boot..
You've said that before... I'll no be fooled again.
Hopefully.
I know, trying to be optimistic
And optimism wins
Pessimism got drunk.

Nice waves today looked bad was good.
Up early and checked a few spots but ended up were it was working. Looked terrible but was actually a bit of fun for the first few hours of day light. Only a small hand full out and sharing around nicely. Surfed my EVO again and it was great, a bit slow on the waves so ended up surfing of my front foot slightly too much..
(At least thats why i think it felt front food needed)
Enjoyable to boot..
Watching the absolute kook fest at cott this morning. I'm sorry I don't need to explain it. You can picture it.

Glad you got out for a paddle JB, I knew last week that there was a chance of waves this morning but nothing I could do to swing a dawn patrol
I think you think too much about your feet btw, get rid of all your boards and keep one, that will sort out your issues, too much choice spoils the fun ha ha

School holidays, a long weekend and a full moon. Its a perfect storm for Kookery.
Fun waves this morning. A little slow between sets but enjoyable with about 16 others, at absolute first light
whats this thing at the beach this morning?
heaven,with a a good chance of hell
busiest I,ve ever seen leighton to swanbourne
people literally everywhere
cable, arto's, deep six, duchies, that whole reef north to iso etc etc even vera view and swannie south reef had 12 + on it
wave starved population came out to feast
I was at sandtracks, decided to count while in the lineup - got to 55 then gave up.
surf starved for sure, good to get wet though!!!
Crazy crowds, crazy vibe and a crazy swell, just crazy...
Still good to get out and paddle around for a couple of hours - saw lots of sand moving around, hopefully gives banks for a little while
I'm amazed... I surfed a local (hr drive from Perth). Nice reef break with wait for it.............. 7 out including myself and son. Best surf in Months. I was last to leave water at 5pm...totally wasted. need a bigger smiley
Glassy this morning but still a little swell. Northern beaches will be firing....hopefully it holds until may day off tomorrow. Granted had an awesome sunset sesh yesterday so can't complain.
Yeah, creepy
Conditions were bad last night but there was heaps on offer when you got lucky. I love it when it's stormy.
I didn't get lucky but it is what it is. Yeah, not sure why I thought "suba" but there you go. You were walking in front of Sammys pizza bar as I drove down the carpark.
