Surprised I didn't see you at the dingo yesterday :p Then again...I don't know what you look like hahaha
Doggie wins...
I did get a freakish 1 second tube before is assploaded me all over the low tide sand bank hahaha....bloody Cottesloe.
Pack your shortboards away and get out your sails coz tomorrow looks like its gonna be on
Its gotta suck balls to be only a shortboarder
Meh
Surfed yesterday when it was so windy I could hardly sit on my board.
$100 says I get some nice rides tomorrow on my 5'8"
Having said that...it is 20" wide and VERY thick hahah
Windsurfing...now that's on my to do list.
Anyhoo, just got back from the tea rooms. Windy or not, had an absolute blast. Some fairly sizable waves rolling through but quite a few guys out. Good thing was it was so consistent you could get a decent ride almost every minute to yourself.
It's been a messy few days but I'll be honest...I'm having a ball with these waves. Fast, long rides that destroy you if you decide to try and get a shorebreak "tube ride" and then get assploaded in the close out. I'm off to buy another leash.....again.
Beachbreak insanity on Sunday. Where was everyone? I parked my car right next to the path to the beach, and there were really only two of us within 100m of anyone else. That was right in front of the path, and there were about 10 people within 500m. Dirty water, I thought I might get sick from stormwater runoff but as of today I've dodged the bullet. I was late getting down and the wind spoiled it a bit after lunch. The early was obviously the go.
Today was Antarctic. My feet are still frozen. The sand was intense, both on the way down and on the way back. It had to be done though, with a rapidly dropping swell and flatness forever in the forecast. Waves were miniscule but clean. Too small to float my fat arse.
I went on Sunday and found nothing but mush.
Today was the first day in well over a month I haven't surfed...feels...lame
Lone Ranges eh Doggie? Did you need a loan to pay for the bullets. Place is farkin expensive.
Sunday was good. Was in at 7, no wind at all, really glassy. Pretty lumpy but some nice ones came through between the closeouts. Trigg was pretty much deserted, I think the howling onshore prediction tricked everybody.
Today was really clean but small and oh so cold. In at 7 and only a few others out for as far as I could see.
I hate the cold, but it really keeps the crowds away!
