Yeah this morning was half decent pretty much everywhere
i found a bank locally in an odd spot
A few boards paid the price though.
And the crowds
but yeah. Tunnel vision.
LOL hang in there legend, it was the worst Nov - Mar for sure. But its just gonna make us appreciate the winter more
PS gratz on the well deserved continued recognition of your outstanding bravery. Hatz off to you m8
Cheers Mick.
Friday was good, Saturday a nice paddle, chart below just keeps getting better.
Mocha admire your timing swell looks great hope the winds line up as well .
PS As Razz said Mocha a photo or two if you could or it didn't happen
It's cooking on the coast right now, wind is a bit funny still cleaning up but there is swell the reefs are lit up and the beachies are booming.
Its also school holidays and I have my kids so there is no surf for me today
Because I have missed out I am raising the alarm
Yeah, left overs was fun this morning low crowd my local early weekend will change that still swell looking good go Huey.
Had kids again today so no surfing but went got a coffee and marched them along the whole new scarb development /playground it's actually set up well for the grommets couple little groms were ripping the slate bowl to shreds
it was pretty decent again couple gems amongst the shutdowns
snapped these off my I phone during the surf check discussed with the kids as the "shell hunt"
Classic Perth closeouts
Yeah fair call, but we don't need jet skis here when it gets to head height
The Trigg stretch was quite good this morning. Regardless, it was nice to get back in the water after 7 weeks out with a shoulder injury... I only managed 70min before it started to ache but I was happy to have managed a dozen or so waves without being a complete kook! Hopefully I pull up OK and can get another dozen tomorrow! I get the MRI results late Tuesday so hoping its Physio rehab and not surgery...
Best of luck with the shoulder GPA. Good news is you havn't missed too many good days & got in the water on a magic day. Missus & I just got back from Perth after catching up with family & celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Surf must have been good everywhere yesterday & today. I could see the outer reefs going off from my olds place in Beaumaris.
^^^
Thanks Mick... there's been a couple of days that I would have liked to have been out there - but I have been trying to do the right thing and rest it for the long term fix - but after 6 weeks of physio and a cortisone injection it's still clunking and popping like a bowl of Rice Bubbles "snap, crackle and pop" for the younger generation out there
Very nice out front today.
Pathetic today - even on the longboard. Tide getting full very quickly... Point Packed had some shape early but was way too crowded for the size of it. Time to get on the bike and enjoy the sunshine...

You should come up and checked out my local on Sunday if you were in the area. Was loads of fun with just myself and two others sharing the point..
Was just up that way until 1500 Sat hanging with family. Then checked in Parmelia Hilton, caught the ferry to Mr Walker restaurant on the South Perth Pier. Had beers & a seafood platter with Moreton Bay Bugs. Was epic

Yes I am - I know it. I am having trouble convincing myself to go out when it's average - which is often! I'm losing my froth!!

Life of the rich and famous, good on you Mich sounds like an epic day.
I was surfing with all your school friends today ...
Dawn raid
couple odd chest /shoulder height ones with a million just above waist runners
its cold in the morning, that's why it's not too crowded but soooo cold
How much weed is around atm?! Trigg is as bad as I can remember it... and North Mullaloo is so bad not a single person was out - not even the 12yo groms. I surfed Nth Scarbs for a couple of hours from 10:00am - got a few in between the rips, the drift and the close-outs. Still offshore now at 2:00pm if you are keen
