The Trigg stretch was quite good this morning. Regardless, it was nice to get back in the water after 7 weeks out with a shoulder injury... I only managed 70min before it started to ache but I was happy to have managed a dozen or so waves without being a complete kook! Hopefully I pull up OK and can get another dozen tomorrow! I get the MRI results late Tuesday so hoping its Physio rehab and not surgery...

Best of luck with the shoulder GPA. Good news is you havn't missed too many good days & got in the water on a magic day. Missus & I just got back from Perth after catching up with family & celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Surf must have been good everywhere yesterday & today. I could see the outer reefs going off from my olds place in Beaumaris.

Thanks Mick... there's been a couple of days that I would have liked to have been out there - but I have been trying to do the right thing and rest it for the long term fix - but after 6 weeks of physio and a cortisone injection it's still clunking and popping like a bowl of Rice Bubbles "snap, crackle and pop" for the younger generation out there

Pathetic today - even on the longboard. Tide getting full very quickly... Point Packed had some shape early but was way too crowded for the size of it. Time to get on the bike and enjoy the sunshine...

You should come up and checked out my local on Sunday if you were in the area. Was loads of fun with just myself and two others sharing the point..

Was just up that way until 1500 Sat hanging with family. Then checked in Parmelia Hilton, caught the ferry to Mr Walker restaurant on the South Perth Pier. Had beers & a seafood platter with Moreton Bay Bugs. Was epic

Yes I am - I know it. I am having trouble convincing myself to go out when it's average - which is often! I'm losing my froth!!

How much weed is around atm?! Trigg is as bad as I can remember it... and North Mullaloo is so bad not a single person was out - not even the 12yo groms. I surfed Nth Scarbs for a couple of hours from 10:00am - got a few in between the rips, the drift and the close-outs. Still offshore now at 2:00pm if you are keen
