Severne HGO 9 m

nice foil Mitch, we don't see a lot of moses race gear in aus, be great if you could write a review and post it on seabreeze for us

Yeah after a few more sessions. It's definitely the ferrari of race foils. Superb upwind. Points high and stays fast. A joy to ride. Still working out how to get the best of it downwind. The starboard boys are not happy :)

It's the first of the new moses race foils in the country. They're starting to push their wind race foils now. I got it through foil sports in Melbourne.

5m Severne gator - 1st use yesterday..a bit overdone at times..

Good sail the gators i recently got a 7.5 and used it 5/6 times. It feels completely different to my other sails in that it seems to just magically absorb gusts and changing wind speeds and convert to forward speed effortlessly, very smooth, did you find yours the same?

I agree, I've had a 6.0 for 7 years. I use it for B & J with my Kode 103 at high tide, strong wind and no flat water. It's good for anything from 17 to 30kts in this combo.

I've now got a 5.7m and 5m..I'm used to cammed sails .Yesterday I thought I'd rig the gator. so when it kicked in I could just plug in the waveboard. Worked a treat!
I don't have a lot of experience with non cammed sails but I do find them very forgiving and like you describe them..I was pretty overpowered at times yesterday but never had any control issues.

So i bought another fin and its seriously sexy. Cannot wait to get it on the water because it looks real fast. But its a wave fin..there is something about this fin. Great work martin.

I got myself a 25cm atomic surf shockwave. Gonna use it in a tri fin setup

It would be fun to see you on a 6.0m sail in 30 knots. I bet with this sail you also start plaining in 12 knots. LOL

+1.. Love it!
I haven't had any flatwater or consistent wind to test it all yet and now I'm off the water for a while with bruised ribs..

Ditto, took me a while to set up properly, I blame senility. Now what was I saying....oh yeah I used it for the first time yesterday and it worked well for 30 minutes then the screen froze for no reason. Did not know how to reset it until I got back home and looked it up on the interweb thingy. Now what was I saying? Oh yeah it works again.

Been using an AFS Wind 95 with F800 wing (bottom, 1080 cm2) for almost two years, finally decided to get the F700 (top, 770 cm2) for higher wind, what a revelation!, over 15 knots the F800 is slow with more wind pressure on the sail and takes more foot pressure to control compared to the F700 which makes flying in 15+ so easy in comparison. Also got some Ion Vario harness lines, really like them, hold line position so I can hook in/out in-flight and easy to adjust if you press the buckle release lever when lengthening and shortening, and can install without removing the tail.
