Hey choco, those look brand new if not close too it, is it the AC1?
Id look forward to your thoughts on it, I recently chose the 2020 loft racing blade 9.0 over the AC1 9.2.
The loft is a great sail but aside from looking fantastic the P7 appears to have a super deep profile, easy to rig?/quality?

Yep it's a 2021 6.2 AC1, got it to fill a size gap in my slalom sails, hopefully get out today and post a full review.
I bought myself this for Xmas, just unboxed it last week.. gunna be a sweet light wind waveboard.
Awesome, can't wait to hear feedback. Right now I'm trying to decide between the Pyro 105 and the Cube 106 for cross onshore 6.0 sailing in crappy waves. Maybe I'll throw the Kode 105 L into consideration too.
I sailed a Kode 105 from a few years ago think it was a 2019 at coronation beach last summer, it was a massive pig, not sure why they even put the side fins in to make it a thruster, Mr Koster was there the day i tried it, i asked him why it was even made, he just smiled and shrug his shoulders... all it did well was float.. lol..
Sailquik, I was generally speaking. Sure, theyve changed shape but nowhere near as much as the modern short n wide shapes we all are now accustomed to riding for day to day conditions.
Narrow beam in relation to length still seems to be the benchmark for top end speed...
Tribal Delta, tiny 14 cm fin for speed sailing, so far 41knts 2 sec and 37.9Knt Nautical Mile

I scares me that you guys are doing 40 knots somewhere that requires a 14 cm fin.
It's not that bad Martin, water depth in most places about a 1meter, weed grows to the surface, on correct tide clearance about 150mm from top of weed to surface, plus some floaty weed That is until you get to the last 500m of the run then it's about 300mm +- 100mm of water. It only hurts if you crash
Location is Albany best NM run in WA, close second to Lake George, for now, until someone cracks the 40+ NM run at Albany
Apart from the occasional solid objects underwater, like the one I hit (using Alu Fangy) that cracked the deck of my board from rail to rail and put me out of action for (an extremely windy) three weeks!:
This beauty finally came in: Zulu Ikwala 37 to replace the Select s1 37 under my patrik frace 120 and 7.0 loft racingblade
Got a Severne Dyno 115. I've only had it out once as I have a minor injury that has kept me from taking out on howling wave days.
BUT I did take it out on a day that was marginal for my 6.6 and discovered that yes, I can uphaul on the 115L board. I tried many times on the 102JP I have but couldn't quite pull it off. This one took some effort as I was in some swell but I did it. Can't wait to get powered up and wave riding on it.
It's so different compared to the Blast or JP.

True, they are still narrow but i would argue that they have changed as much as slalom and free ride boards.
Finally the 2nd to last piece of my gear has arrived 5 months late but better than never, thanks Jon/Michael @ SurfFx

Whats with all the white tape on it ??????
Dyno 125. Sweet light to medium wind chuckaround hull, makes the lulls a non problem ( moreso than the 115) and feels great in little swell/ waves. Used as a single fin so far but itching for some swell to try it as a tri fin. Super happy with this.
Nice! I ordered one also. I plan to mostly use it with 6.2/6.8m2 wave sail and thrusters, but curious how it works as a freeride board with the maximum recommended sail size (8.5) and the ~38cm single fin. If the Dyno works for that, I can also replace my Atomiq 124 for flat water.

The way the are built
Point-7 ACX 6.0 2021. Beautiful sail! Took her out today for a maiden voyage. No surprises, it is my 4th ACX. The usual powerful and slippery sail that translates any gust into forward motion and board speed. Never really got in the overpowered conditions where the ACX shines, but it was fun. Needs a bit of braking in and tensioning here an there but otherwise a big plus! Will work great during the season.
My sailing buddy just received his Dyno 125 L so as soon as the notoriously fickle Florida winds cooperate we'll do a side by side comparison with the Kode 125.

Nice! Looks like the PB fin placement is about the same? I hope that's not a problem on the Severne also. It looks like the mast track is about the same distance from the front footstraps? Sort of hard to tell, since the Severne's front footstraps are on further back holes. It looks like the Starboard's front footstraps can be positioned closer to the mast track. Super curious about your review! This weekend should be good for it!
Got some new K4 fins to try on a new-to-me board (104 Wave Cult, foreground). So many possibilities but I'll likely try it first as a thruster with the 10cm Ezzy 2 degree fronts and 18cm Skorcher rear.

Grantmac,
congrats on new fins.
Good to see your focus on the fins with snow on your deck. Will you try them out before the snow melts?

The intent is to get them wet Sunday. Truth is we rarely get snow here and it doesn't stay around for long. I'm in the most temperate part of Canada where we don't shovel our rain
Not thrilled with 32 cm PB K4. Spins out, never solid, on a RRD Freemove 100 at 69 wide powered or underpowered.
Just picked up a brand new red Ezzy 5.8 Zeta. It's a beauty!
I've just received my ezzy Hydra sport and ezzy wave, they are so well made can't wait to get them out on my foil.
Have you sailed your Zeta yet ? Magicride
just arrived my new Point7 ACX 7.5 to replace my old ACX MY16. This time I got it yellow because the lifeguard said I have to stop scaring the summer swimmers with black sails

Congrats on your new sails! Haven't tried the zeta yet. Still sitting in the bag. At the end of March or April, I will get on the water. Looking forward to it. We currently have great snow and I've been on the windski about twice a week. Tomorrow, Fri and Sat are all looking good at 15-25 mph westerly winds. I'm getting better at bump n jump on the snow. So much fun. Snow mobiles make great ramps to jump off of. I will do a video tomorrow and post it. Happy sailing!

Hi Rob, what mast are you using with the ACX 7.5? (Mine is arriving in a couple of weeks!)
Ordered this sail on 06/07/20. Worth the wait, got a 21 instead of a 20, same price.
Thought I'd get it wet today but had to use my 6.7 instead. Love my NP V8's, they just work so well for my free-ride sailing
V8flight 2021, anyone else out there with one please feel free to PM me to discuss rigging settings, cheers Tony
