Wade! Mate! I've been saying where's Wade when we've had some great session's in the NE'rs at Turners.
I remembered you saying you couldn't wait. Be good to have you on the team and help carry us.
Wish I was there today. Bloody study and work. Enemies of windsurfing.
Don't worry. You didn't miss anything. A lot of east in it. Only a couple of good runs with a 6.8. Should have used a 7.8
Hey Wade, I've been meaning to catch up and let you know about the GPSTC team. Like Jeff says, flick them a message and they'll get in touch with me to confirm and they take care of the change over after that. I'll sms you when I hear from the GPSTC guys. What's been going on, cat sailing?
Thanks. I sent them a email. Got a Nacra 5.8 I've been sailing on sundays. Plus Work leaves not much spare time.
It shows me on Sandstone Team but if I post track it still goes to Moreton Bay. Might leave it a few hours and try again.
Enjoyable day even if I had a late start .The wind cooperated too.
Adam and Wade went for the kms and pulled up a bit sore for their trouble. Can you tell who did 100+ and who did 70+ ?
See what happens when Wade's wife takes off for the weekend and he's allowed to stay at the beach all day
Great to catch up again Pete, that fangy fin is an engineering work of art and you needed it to chop through that weed. Nearly everyone sailing today, only three regulars missing with Dag hungover and sleeping, Jeff pulling a double shift and sleeping and Brad getting his bikini line, hair and nails done
Now I've got lot's of work in the lead-up to Xmas, which I'm really thankful for.
Have to somehow fit study in too, so going to be a bit sad on the windsurfing front.
On the up-side maybe I'll be able to re-address the toy's situation.
Another couple of classic Sandstone days for Monday and Tuesday this week and a few midweek delinquents to share it with too. Neap tides and a bit of east in the wind mean flat conditions over the flats but it's still pretty bumpy when you go over the edge into the deeper water. The weed has now pretty much blown in onto the beach and the water is clear enough to see the bottom most of the time too. Plenty of wildlife with dugongs, eagle rays and turtles providing a bit of a surprise to keep you on your toes and your eyes peeled. Good crowd, with Cocky and Adam getting into it both days, Jeff and John yesterday, Denis and Wade today so weekday sailing seems to be getting popular
Cheers Pete, great conditions and good to see that over half our team managed to sneak out for a sail. You should have seen Adam, he was gutted that I was just managing to stay a flysh!t faster than him through the day and was ready to go home and give himself an uppercut. He's a competitive little chicken though and stayed in the water late with Wade whilst Denis and I packed up, the water flattened off as the tide fell and that last blast of breeze had him smoke me by 2 knots. What's the correct terminology for a bunch of eagle rays enjoying the warm water close to the surface ........... a fright of eagle rays?
Should be right to get back on the water this weekend.
Get your sailing done peeps, guaranteed to be no wind from then on!!!
Nice to be back on the water after a forced layoff. Especially nice as Paddles stayed home doing his scrap booking so we actually got some wind for a change.

Looks like low tide Turners camp delivered ????
nice pb 28.8 brad - congratulations
cheers Jeff
Adam rang to say the weed was really bad but i'm suspecting he's pulled out another scam like the famous shark story to try and keep people off the water
Yeah. He is dodgy.
Told me I had to use a weed fin and I spent most of the arvo sailing sideways. Tony had a pointer on and said he went fine.
Looking after his Kingdom!!!
Yep, dodgy as. I spoke to him today and he said you guys had pointers on and I wondered whether I should have just braved the weed, even Amanda couldn't believe I didn't go sailing
Help ! I forgot to turn off my Locosy GPS after the session sailing today and drove home with it on. . Are my results buggered or is there some way to cut out the road travel ?
It's just that my 10 second run at 40knts would be a bit suspicious on a day when the wind was only blowing 10knts. I'm just glad I didn't legitimately break any records if I have to scrap yesterday's efforts.
Sorted. I found a program called RealSpeed that let me delete the driving part of my recorded track.
Glad you got it sorted Denis. Some of Jeff's best alphas have been driving around those roundabouts at Sandstone point
