Bugger it! This working is getting in the way.
Dags , you are not alone mate. Worse still i can see everyone fangin around from where i work.
Wow, what a day for sailing at Sandstone today. 7.5m sails at first in the smooth/shallow conditions then change to 6.5, get beaten up and drop to 5.5 and then I was out and it was 4m+ conditions for the guys still left sailing as the wind just got stronger and stronger through the afternoon. Great turnout too, with Johnny B, Brad, Tony and myself kicking off mid morning; then Denis, Mark, and a new couple from the Sunny Coast (who sail super well), JV Jonno and even Jeffery showed up to get slapped around by 25+ winds and a bit of chop. I'm knocked up, I gotta sail more
I forgot to mention BJ, he was out there for the first time in a while too and will be no doubt dropping Nurofens last night like a teenager dropping party smarties.
Two days of "Wally Heaven".
Tomorrow might hurt though.
Yeah, ya dead right, In a good way.
Fridge in the car for cold beer.
Big smile driving home.
Well that was fun, and somewhat painful.
Turners was well and truely on yesterday.
Big km's from Bone's and Dags. Dennis and Pope John wisely retired early.
I crashed out after doing "one more run!"
Jeff made his usual late Cameo and tested just how shallow you can go with a Fangy fin.
Think he may be feeling a bit second hand this morning too.
Same again next weekend??? Unless Adam is back and the wind disappears!
Adam must be back.
Tomorrow's a big question mark.
Might drag the Wally up there anyway for some exercise and practice.
Who's up for it? Brad? Tony?

There's a few of us sailing the Wally's and LTs at Victoria Point tomorrow from 10:30 at Orana Esplanade. I think Frank and Jinxie are even putting sausage on the barbie for anyone who shows up!
Hi Seabreezers,
Your forecast is looking better up there tomorrow. Any of you planning to sail Turners Camp/Ningi Creek if so can you reply here or PM me.
Would be good to get an idea of where the shallow bits are and catch up...
Yes i will be keen if there is wind.
Start holidays on monday. Looks good from Tuesday onwards. May make a late (usual) appearance after work Saturday
cheers Jeff
The wind snuck up to 15-20 ENE and the tide was perfect for Phillip Street so I couldn't resist and quickly went down the front and sailed solo today. Heaps of bay swells to surf back in on and bounce across on the way back out, it was Beachmere being as fun as it gets today. I think Adam was sailing Sandstone, but I don't know who was joining him. Happy Sunday
Talk is cheap Jeffery, you haven't showed up for a sail all week

Game on! It looks like it could be another of those epic days at Sandstone tomorrow with a good tide and plenty of wind. Who's taking a mental health day off work?
Crankin forecast Paddles! Yep no work 2moro. Im hittin it at GB early early early. Hunting the flats on the falling tide. Taking my old Bic Veloce 288 out for a spin. 120 litre n small fin.
YEEEHAAA!! GO GET IT LADS!!

All points of the compass for the breeezers this Sunday. I was at Turners flying mostly solo. I arrived just as a local newbie named Wade was packing up. Great sail. Was much more north than east over there and some flat water late in the day.
