for any kids coming to sandstone point this weekend. Aust Windsurfer class have provided us with a beanie to give away this weekend. prize is a bit of fun to encourage youth numbers at the meets. first youth (u15) around the course will be the victor!!!
Can anyone attend? RBs ok? I might make a blow in appearance. Northerly on Friday might just push me south to Sandstone.
Anyone can join in.
Brad I remember being side by side last time... looks like there is some real competition for the back of the fleet.
With everyone trying for last , when no ones looking I could cut the course and slip in for the win.
Fun little sail, bit overpowered on the 4.2. Didn't see any other windsurfers, just a handful of kiters.
Wasn't even that cold! Only downside was the fish and chip shop was closed when I finished my session.
Lucky for me I managed to convince my partner to take some photos in return for some farm fresh strawberries.
Friday Afternoon Gentleman's Sailing with Adam and Col at Phillip Street this arvo, good fun and the first sail in a while for us all.
Will anybody be out and about on the water this saturday in these westerly's? I have never sailed this area so was hoping I could tag along. Cheers
Yes we are hoping to be, also going to checkout Imax's spot at white patch from just after lunch today, got a cough and had to leave work early

thanks - ill look to head to bongaree area early saturday and hopefully see some of you there, cheers
I'll be over Moreton this weekend but when I sail there I usually launch in front of the seaside museum (Blue arrow), cause there is showers and a toilet block which is super convenient. I believe most of the locals launch further down at the red arrow, I believe the water is slightly deeper off the beach? They can probably clarify, but I don't think there are facilities there so I prefer to launch up at the museum.
Pretty much sail in front, there is a weed bank, green area, so watch out for that but it's pretty hard to miss. Wind is cleaner down the bottom, but depending on the current and tide you may want to stay a bit further north.
That was some crazy wind on Saturday, I went to the MX track instead and sent some dust over to you all
