Not sure how safe it would be but lots of heaters have there fuel tanks as part of the unit and there is advantages in short pipe runs
If you google images of kero stoves a lot of them have the tank attached to the unit
I don't suppose under the stove at the base of your stainless enclosure is a option
I know it would be exposed (sometimes this is a advantage) but it would be easy to fill

Dont have enough toom under the stove area unfortunatly
But ater thinking about it ill fit it at the rear of the stove bench top may behind the sink which will have a tap there aswell
Just clutter one area
I think i could fit my cups behind there and plates behind the stove
Doing that gives me more benchtop room here the stove bench top is over the stove

The only down side would be the head room
Full headroom in the hulls 1.6m in saloon.

Haven't been on for a while due to computer problems and general laziness but have made steady progress on impulse including: new windows; refurbished hatch; repainted cabin; replaced half the cockpit floor; new boom and seldon vang; new main and genoa.
Also I have to give a massive thanks to Jolene who fabricated a new fitting to enable me to convert from wheel to tiller steering

The new main in 30Knots with the first reef in. The genoa has foam inserts on the luff, you can see its shadow half reefed and driving to windward

Finally, our build has started.
The great news is we got our first piccies of our Pogo 12.50 build starting.
This is the rear starboard toilet/technical area bulkhead showing the doorway, this is at the infusion process showing the foam. The long piece in the foreground extends back under the cockpit so to speak.
It was surprising how tough the versions of foam they use can get to. Around the rudder posts and load bearing areas, the foam type is rock hard, you cant make an indent with your fingernail. other areas it has some give, like normal foam feels.

Sorry for the big photos, bit of a novice at this. The bad news is I have not lifted a finger 
, as the build is happening on the other side of the world which is difficult...
I love reading about you guys and your boat builds. I come from a boat building background. Now I teach in High Schools.
The Foam they are using for Infusion and laminating is a high density foam core. The reason it is so hard is:
1. Impact resistance
2. When Infusing the less porous the foam the better BUT you can use lighter foams and cardboard cores but they are not as impact resistant.
3. The awesome thing about infusion is you use peel ply under the bag and you have a ready to bond surface.
4. Harder foams keep ther shape outside of the moulded surface, BUT you can no rely on them to keep there shape forever. Bonding them after cure or leaving them in mould is the BEST.
I am in the process of building and designing a 4x4 Motorhome based of either a Mercedes benz Sprinter or MItsubishi Canter chasis. I will probally infuse the panels and glue them together.
I have currently been making surboards with UV curable resins. Its an absolute revaltion you can build stuff walk away have a coffee then come back and the resin has not gone off. Once your done take the baord outside or turn on the UV lights. Half and hour later rock solid. I have been making laminated panels and shaping one off fins.
I have had a student build a hollow surfboard parts on a 3D printer and then glass it together with UV resins its pretty fun.

Mmmmmm Pogo ... One question that has me perplexed, how are you going to carry a dinghy without ruining those gorgeous Pogo lines. Davits on a Pogo in my opinion are just a giant no no.

Yep, you're right, no davits allowed!
If I didn't have the dual wheel option, you have enough room for a sizeable inflatable to rest on the deck behind the tiller post without fouling anything.
Unfortunately, I lose that option as the dual wheel pedestals bite in a little bit to this space.
Still lots of room to rest an inflatable up against the rear lifelines , but the purist part of me doesn't like that much.
The current solution is the inflatable goes deflated in a hatch in the cockpit floor, which is surprisingly cavernous.

She is being constructed in Combrit, in Sth Brittany.
Structures, have had a lot of experience in the Open 40's and Mini-Transats, and this is their cruiser racer version of the Pogo 40s. Lots of years of research went into this decision, and Pogo just kept ticking all the boxes .
Splashes end of September, and we hope to have her in the water in Brisbane, her new home, by Xmas (fingers crossed). Doing lots of research into the shipping and import stuff at the mo!
This is the hull mould with the foam in....gives you a good perspective on the shape.. beam is 4.5mtrs.
Awesome build! Don't take this the wrong way HG02, but it's a bit more exciting than a debate about where to put the kero tank on a Walker 28!

Yes, we are all waiting with bated breath. Sorry if that was a harsh comment about your project HG but this Pogo build clearly has a completely different budget And that in itself promotes interest, even envy.

Personal I didn't find your comment harsh mate, any day you can 'sink the slipper' into HG or BrizzyD for that matter is a good day.

Id cheat with the 930 and raise the cabin slight to suit 6 ft 1 inch
I bought the plans for a simpson when i was married cut out the temp bulk head and had one stringed up
And was told bu my dear sweet x wife its the boat or me

It was going to be a retirement long term project . It did cross my mind after I was shown the door but now where to build and after 17 years of the three legged race it took me a while to walk again
If I won tattslotto Id ordered the material asap and also the plans
Spent the day removing the sealant between the hull and the teak rub rail on both sides gave them both a sand and scrubbed them both with Feast & Watsons wood cleaner. Hopefully tomorrow it will be warn enough to vanish the teak after Sikaflexing the the join. One of the many jobs on the to do list. Want to get it done before winter sets in

Wheels on a Pogo, that is just wrong too ... real Pogo's have tillers, two of them. Allow me to whisper a question of you ..... Was it the meds that caused this decision to have wheels? When you post the pics of the finished boat, I think it will be the first Pogo I have seen with wheel steering.

certainly does tick many boxes except my bank balance I'm afraid
