a. Getting arrested
b. Having an out of body experience due to over ingestion of the local delights
c. Loosing any boards

^^ That Swellnet thread was still there (a moment ago at least)? It sure starts with a bang:

there have been a few more interesting posts - this one especially caught my attention

Here a Surf Report for you Ben Matson
Theres a Tsunami of **** coming you way.
If you would like to let Ben Matson know what a ****in **** he is
Swellnet Corporate Office
Address: 86 Marine Parade, Kingscliff NSW 2487
Phone: (02) 9965 9260
ASIC searches are ongoing for other directors
Once we get to the bottom of whether a DA Development Application has been made with Council for this commercial activity we can get the corporate exploitation of our natural environment shut down and or some heavy fees and permits applied to make it commercial nonviable.
If there is no DA this will open the way for the private property owners who have contracted with Swellnet to be held commercially liable.
They could then in turn sue Swellnet for breach of contract on the grounds that a contract cannot have for its consideration an illegality.
Ballina Police are raising the issue with Council Traffic Management Committee.
The Coast Hwy has limited parking and is a main arterial road.
Swellnet and Ben Matson and going to have to prove this commercial activity will not adversely affect traffic movements and the limited parking available by providing a Traffic Management Plan for every swell they forecast.
Also an Environmental Impact Statement and assessment will have to drafted to show that the natural environment will not be adversely affected by the movements of people they generate to this area by the promotions and forecasts they give.
We will then repeat the process and forward the same issue to every other council in Australia and property owner where this ****wit has set up his cameras.
If the installation of these cameras has been illegal with no DA we will contact all the advertises and inform them of swellnet misrepresentation and illegal activity.
Your going to pay your way or be shut down for good and we will cost you a ****load of money.
Forget surfing and surf forecasting ****....
You,ll be spending the next 12 months behind a computer screen dealing with a legal tsunami.

Master surfboard shaper and owner of Free Flight Surfboards, Phil Myers, chats and reminisces about his life growing up on the Far North Coast of N.S.W. Australia. He takes us on an evolutionary ride over the years, from the 1960's before the region was a world renown surfing mecca, right through to where he, the surf industry and surfing is at today.

Vic Leto chatted with Phil for The Lennox Wave community magazine when Phil featured in a profile as Mr December, 2016.

Some of these multiples are incredible when you look through the team lists. Let alone some of the selections - Mitchell Marsh - really worth AUD $935K ? How about Chris Lynn at $253K ag Steve Smith at $1.07m ? Wow he seems great value.

When you look through the team lists its incredible - Aaron FInch is worth 1/5 of Mitchell Marsh - who has barely made a run in a year ! Love it how Steve Smith is too tired to play one day matches or 20/20 normally but can play this comp. Chris Lynn looks like an absolute bargain ! ! !

Surely there should be a bit more outrage in the Aussie public.

I kinda agree with that sentiment - if you have your won boat use it - maybe takes 3 or 4 more people. a taxi service on the other hand could be doing 30 people an hour. Yuck.

Similar place in NZ. We used to paddle a row boat over when we were young - sure was interesting on the way home when you were tired and the water was running out at 6 knots and a big boat was coming your way
