Slater left an intriguing comment.
He said:Honestly, I won't be popular for saying this but there needs to be a serious cull on Reunion and it should happen every day. There is a clear imbalance happening in the ocean there. If the whole world had these rates of attack nobody would use the ocean and literally millions of people would be dying like this. The French govt needs to figure this out asap. 20 attacks since 2011!?

Pup - read the article. It's gone for now. Nice read. Steve is conflicted on this issue. I wonder if he is still doing the surf report !
Yeah just answered my own question - it was a local
"After discussion" mmmmmm they could have been interesting at times
That forum topic has now disappeared from Swellnet. Surprised the News section is not running Steve's story.......

First came by this from a WA site (Bunbury Mail) which was not working for me, so did a search. Found the first vid which I thought was petty cool. Then this second video I believe was the video I was looking for & actually entwined in the first vid. Shark is tiny, maybe 6 feet give or take a foot...Look at the headline & the video that accompanies it

Whoops sorry I think you dropped something...oh whats that another name?
spotted this under the Tallebudgeraa bridge yesterday... about 10 am.. last thing you'd expect to see on a bike ride....
Wow very cool you noticed. I imagine a lot of people would have just passed by without noticing. Great pic of it too!
I really loved this quote "It's so hard to catch a wave on a motorcycle," I bet ten years ago you'd never thought that even possible
I liked this one better - sums that lot up perfectly and most other surf related publications where they claim to be journalists !
We wrote about it a few days ago, first, taking one side (story pulled after threat of defamation suit), then jumping on the other side.
