Shaky night over here northern South Island hit by 7.5 earth Quake 5m Tsunamis , I had the board on the car but they are say stay away from the coast . 3 mtr tidal surges are reported . On ya Bike Ted centre is in Calverton .

you can't have read the fine print........tsunami warning for giz lifted before dawn......looked pretty crap though.
Caught a couple of fish later in the day

And fishing off a board can be a bit dangerous........this vid i left makorori northern beach paddling into a NW wind to wainui thinking i could downwind on way back. Then totally fast wind change to a strong blustery NE wind left me battling to get back to the starting point

Finally some surf.......4 foot at town beach. Did glimpse towball doing a drive by. Took my sunova out at town.......not very crowded to start off with......then for "surf number two" took my long board (PSH 12'6) out at the point.
Chatting to Eddie Rare who was about to paddle out......and I was trying to be strong and carry the PSH up the hill www.teaomaori.news/native-affairs-surfs

thanx for putting that link up ...wat an inspiration ..fencing at 75 ....still surfing ...those Mctav pop outs shore are durable .

Yep, great to see

Great inspiration , at just 60 and a hip replacement just about to happen for me ,i hope i can rehab quickly and get back into the waves soon as well and as Eddie said live every day woohoo , what a true surf legend

good morning all ..... actually I did end up scoring a few at the local watering hole ..... very few out & it ended up better than I thought given that flukey bloody wind ..... nice
