Thought it was going to be small and fat so
Took my 10ftr for ankle high fatness but when I got there it was over ankle high so I went home to get another 10ftr from the quiver..

My ankle to knee high 10ftr..

Heading back down to the beach, found a park got out and the tide had dropped so it was bit suckier then I remembered so went home and got my Knee to ankle high sucky wave 10ftr.

But by the time I got back it had gone onshore so went home again and got my ankle to knee high onshore 10ftr..

Had a great surf after that..

But thinking by about ordering g a 9'10 any thoughts???

LOL...I think you need to take down more than one board at a time

Maybe a new car

Its been good here too for the last four days or so. I even managed to find a barrelling reef on a long weekend with three people out. My body is sore. More coming too.

Finally El Niño is passed.

I get a new car in Friday too.

I hear ya. Been unreal here the last few days. Long lulls between sets and a few crew have arrived in last 48 hours - avoiding NEPYI. But I have had my fill ! Been unbelievable ! Back to Bali tom sadly then onto Sydney for a week or two. Gutted to be leaving when its pumping.

Back From work late last night, bit of a sleep in then Swell check...ok, Head west with the 9'5" where the Westerly is offshore. Enjoyed a great couple of hours of perfect little chest high long board waves, 80-90m long rights with some 60m lefts. Great way to start the month home
Shame its looking crap for the next few days though

Yep busy at the local today. I was lucky to get a park at 0730 & people were parking out on the road. FRothing crowd, had to really fight for waves. But then they all went in about the same time, offshore backed off & the last couple of hours were nice. A lot bigger than expexted, good fun

Finally...game on.

A good dose of East swell arrived to liven up a couple of hidden gems but unfortunately non favourable winds for those and time constraints saw me head to the reliable and offshore local beachy that turned it on nicely for us. Awesome right sporting a happy 6 people and a left on the other side which is where I decided to play, which didn't get off to a good start after conversation with what I felt to be a greedy SUP'er Who ironically was the only other person on the bank. Anyway we made peace.

Enjoyed a few hours of fun and games, only two others that paddled out, but at its most crowded there were three of us on the healthy and hollow lefts and now I'm suffering sore shoulders quite happily and contently.

It's days like this remind me why we love living down here :) yew!

i would have loved a day like that.

nothing surfable up my way. Worse part is,our banks survived the last swell, well they got even better. But we didnt really get to surf it because of the devil winds. Now they are just a memory .

Good part is my fitness is coming on a bit now,and im feeling better every day
