Way bigger than expected. Grinding. Got five then had three sets in a row nail me and called it quits. Swell had jumped a metre in the time it took me to drive in. I was expecting head high peelers and got triple head high bursters.

Yep it's going to be a great weekend here as a result of that Drip. Been watching this swell for a while - think it's going to be a day late but thems the breaks

Have you had your gun out yet Drip??

I strapped the gun on the roof 45 minutes ago. Hopefully tomorrow it earns its keep. I'm taking the 8' and 9'6". I would have liked the 8 today. I missed a lot of waves because I was sitting too far out and trying to stroke in on a 7' fish.

Good to see pup getting some Yeeeeeeew

i got two seshies today, my back is killing me
i hope it last two more weeks.

flexed the muscles today ,felt like I had to.
i was sitting just back from the prime spot and kept on watching blokes jump off the point straight
to the head of the line up.
i waited for a lull paddled to the head turned on the best wave
paddled to find four or five in front paddleing ,I fadded them then screamed get out of the farkn way
and had a ripper head hi wave all to myself Into the beach.
paddled back out and sat down the line up content
I did received some strange looks and a few laughs.
I love being mental

Nice waves on the outside Points at Noosa today. As usual the prime spot was crowded.

Unfortunately for me I am still out of action, so my sessions involve a walk and a look.

I ran into Jasdekings crew at National Park, the lad was in the line up getting a few.

The local point morning and again in the arvo, not many out at either sesh and the full little waves suited me, with the occasional bigger set.
Best thing was that everyone out was either Sh!ttier than me, or equal to my level of Sh!ttiness

Surf has flattened out, that's ok as I can't walk on my right foot because of ending on rocks yesterday.

Spent the weekend surfing Mick's fav wave wave in Bali. Nice trades made for some hollow sections and lovely long rides. Shame about the crowd factor. Love it when people say sorry after blatantly dropping in ahhhhh - why do it in the first place

They didn't see you.

Probably because they didn't look.

Does an "Oi" work?

The problem with that wave is that when its a bit bigger and you are trying to gun it through the first section from high up on the reef the last thing you need is someone pushing the wave down in front of you of dropping in and forcing you into a direction change to avoid them and the others paddling out. You definitely need to take a high line through it.

But yeah - they just don't see whilst looking straight at ya ! But that is Bali for ya. Other parts of Indo are how it should be - taking turns.

With his big red helmet Ted would be hard to miss..

Ted do you not find the helmet heats your head up in such a warm climate..

On drop ins, it really can take the fun out of a session. Worst still if they keep doing it, then it just happens back to them and then no one gets clean waves.
