Pup & I scored some filth this morning, not many out & some overhead screamers...thought I would have got some footage with the soloshot that arrived yesterday, but I farked up pointing the camera slightly to the right or something & filmed the shoulder

Soloshot - jeepers - interested to see this. I think your good lady has been doing a great job of late - why the need to replace ?

Well done LL - Hoping to be up your way in May and would be good to see your CW hot log in the flesh and in action!

She has been awesome when we're on holiday mate. But she only comes down to the local for a swim in summer, won't get her down in winter when the swells hit. Hopefully get it right tomorrow.

^^ Double Over-Ankle!!

Well overhead at Bells today... I'm buggered! Another long session... Even my leg muscles are a bit sore, getting through so many bottom turns!

Courtney Conlogue was out there actually... Ripping it! Getting in some practice before Easter. She told me she racked up 8 hours at Bells yesterday. Surfed almost all day!

At work in the big smoke for the 3rd straight day in a row so no waves for me again today. Cracks me up to see the surf report though. It really bemuses me that weak 1-2ft swell is a 4/10. I call that a 1/10 at best.

Yeah but Ted, you're God's gift to surfing!

Was out with a mate this morning at Queenscliff, almost glassy, nice sets but a long wait for a quickish chest high take off. Held up on right and left. Shame about the vibe killer on a shortie trying to muscle in on everything ..... an older cove too, one would have thought he was over all that ****e by now.......

MR - I just do not get excited about small waves - sorry !!! !! !!! I like it when it has some punch. I just get sick of the reporter who claims thats a 4/10 day and then when its 6ft perfection he calls it an 7 or 8. Weird.

Cheeky croc spotted surfing at Dripstone Cliffs

A CHEEKY crocodile has been spotted body surfing at a popular Darwin beach.

Onlookers were amused to see the croc playing around in the waves at Dripstone Cliffs late yesterday afternoon.

The saltie attracted a curious crowd with NT News Facebookers saying it was moving around in the water without a care.

The croc certainly didn?t mind the amateur paparazzi who braved a possible sudden attack by creeping close to the water?s edge to take some photos.

This sighting follows a 3.5m saltie at Gunn Point by two fishos on the weekend.

Crocs don?t mind the choppier stuff, with a saltie recently scaring surfers out of the water at another Darwin city beach last month. The group of surfers ? including ABC Darwin journalist Michael Coggan ? were catching waves off Nightcliff beach at high tide about 2pm on February 6 when they became aware of cries from onlookers on the beach that there was a crocodile in pursuit.

Luckily, they escaped with their lives and their surfboards.

Went for a surf this morning with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately for one young bloke he had a seizure and 4 of us had to paddle him in. Bloody scary. If his mate had not been so close to him when it kicked off he would not have made it. Then it was a very long run back to the car park to locate a phone. Felt for the ambos having to do the long walk in with all their gear. The fella is all good but I found the whole experience very frightening and a good reminder that I need to do a first aid refresher course now not soon. Stay safe out there fellas.

LOL at the croc, thats why I have no interest in Northern Australia. Its bloody hot, but you can't swim anywhere with all the crocs, box jellyfish, shells with spears, sharks & probably other things...

Yep no swell again today .......had a chat to a bloke yesterday who had just come back from scoring fun waves at this place. Looks fun

3ft excellent lefts at LH beach...actually made the friggin right board choice today..took the 7.2 midlength and had a BRILLIANT 2hr sess..totally stoked.
After yesterdays bloody shocker..(and I mean a total shocker) of missed take offs, fudged bottom turns, etc etc.... today was a relief almost.
Buckets of fun this morning

Some nice ones today - it really feels like the early stages of Mike are starting to kick in at long last - been a very long wait! Speaking of which the waits between sets was very long today. It was a session of quality waves as opposed to a high quantity of them. Looking forward to getting back out there shortly.
