Macquarrie innovation has the WSSRC Australian speed sailing record. The statement is that there is currently no Australian Windsurfing record.

I think I have read somewhere before that Steve Allen may have the WSSRC Australian Windsurfing Record. Do you have a reference for this Vando?

That is fn dangerous, what people will do for records, takes a lot of courage to sail that fast with such a small margin for error!!!! (And maybe a brief suspension of one's sanity[}:)] )

To my knowledge WSSRC does not have a separate category for windsurfing and the National Speed Records are for any sailing vessel.
So to break the Aussie record one needs to beat the Macquarie Innovation at 50.07knots (500m).

Edit - ... and very soon it might be bumped up who knows how high by the VSR2 ...

When you said the worlds best..did you mean the worlds fastest?
Anyway i suspect his clean trim and stability are heavily influenced by his size.
