Mmmm southerly. Who remember's the last time they sailed a good southerly. Oh wait, was it, yeah Tuesday!!!
It just seems like years ago Darren, so much water under the bridge since tuesday. Coming into neap tides too so the water at Sandstone will be nice and flat next week. Luckily there's not a tax on windsurfing yet Darren, or else we'd be paying as much tax as Bradley
Jeff's being a trooper and putting in some more km this arvo too.

Yep....
had to put another afternoon in on my own - everybody doing their lawn???
Gentle time. A few planing runs. I gotta say - 9.5 Ezzy is a big bugger to be throwing around in a gybe - phew!!!!
Left my gps at home - can't claim location day best now ;-)
Looking forward to next 4 days
cheers Jeff
Hi Bob I think there will be a few people sailing at Turner's camp Road not sure on times I will probably be there around 2 or 3
Think I'll head off soon. Cianna is mad keen, so we'll try and catch some light breeze.
Looking at the graph's it might actually be building already though.
Should be a good arvo.
We rode this morning whilst Olivia swam and it was already 5-10 first thing at Bribie. Should be good this arvo.
good turnout at Turners camp today. well powered up 7m weather
Free ride boards to manage the waves coming across the bribie passage.
No flat water today with high tide.
no gybes today = a few crashes having a go
cheers jeff
Gusty and rough conditions at Turner's Camp today made for challenging sailing, great bunch of guys sailing again which is awesome, windsurfing is returning to Bribie. Tony used an 8m sail and showed us all how it should be done, he was flying. Adam and myself used 7m sails, Jeff used a 7.5 and the other guys used sails around the 6m mark so we were all over the place. I felt out of control at times and wished I had rigged my 6.1 but then slogged it out through the holes and was happy to have the 7. My afternoon ended abruptly with my biggest crash ever whilst chasing down Adam. It turned my boom into 5 pieces and stunned me big time so spewing that my first carbon boom only lasted for a few weeks, lucky it was second hand.
Looked at the Sandstone Point times posted on ka72. Lots of hooning.........you guys!!!
Paddles you're supposed to slow down BEFORE you reach disintergration speed
Who's going today?
Yep think I'm ready for my 6th day in a row ???
cheers Jeff
few domestics to do first
Good afternoon yesterday at Turners Camp Road....only marginally spoiled by an errant knee puncturing a hole in my sail.
Thanks to Darren for Gaffer tape and DIY advice so that I could keep sailing.
I'm going to give it a miss today doesn't look like there's enough wind. Don't know about anybody else
Was a good day. Some nice breeze for the Speed SR250L & 8.5m. My little girl is sailing on all point's and having an absolute ball (on a Wally). Wind dyed in the bum after the storm and turned 180 which made it interesting getting back (towing her side by side). Every day on the water is good.
Fun cruise at Turners. Longboard heaven. We all made it back to shore after the wind change (eventually) and a heavy shower as we got back to the cars to wash off the gear. Perfect.
There is always enough wind.
Very good, anywhere around here in 10kn of breeze is longboard heaven. A quiet day at home with a couple of movies plus in and out of the pool all day for me.
High tide will be around 1700 tomorrow and the afternoon tides are really small so there'll probably only be enough water at Sandstone from about 4pm onwards. I'm hoping we'll get a couple of morning sails this week on the morning tide if the wind hangs in overnight.
I'm going to try and make it to sandstone after work hopefully about 3:30 or 4 o'clock and sail till dark.
Wednesday Bongaree????
This fits my domestics better. Lightwind blasting on the flat water playground. Good low tide depth
maybe backup for late arvo blast at sandstone

Love the way you're thinking. Back it up in the arvo at Sandstone as well. Might do some K's without the little one, and get some good exercise too! Look's like a good day!
Bugger it, I'm going up today too and spending the night. Get a session in this arve somewhere. Anyone for Bongaree if it come's in early enough?
