G'day guys it's Shannon here. I had a fantastic couple of days windsurfing with you guys. I'll come back again sometime soon. The flat water up there was amazing!
thanks Shannon.
Hey everyone, Lois had her first sail ever today and is hooked. Pretty stoked how good it is for learning down here.

Great news. Perfect day for it today
cheers Jeff
20-25 NE here at Beachmere this arvo but tides are no good, did anyone sail at Turner's? Looking good for Sandstone next week.
Good session today
not as much wind as predicated
imax on 9.4 rest of us on a little smaller
denis did some kms on his 107 isonic
Tom starting to be a regular
Turned up and mark was rigging 6.5 however quick reassessment as the wind was only around 14knts
Denis shouted the beers
There was heaps of wind at queens beach but sadly no beers.
Friday nights we have our regular beers at QBN. Typically it brings another 5 knots.
Col shouted beers
Mark Imax myself good session
Mark Dennis and Adam extended session by sailing flat shallow water with shallow fins
Wind around 16knts
Started the afternoon at sandstone hiding in car. Rainy wind gusting 20-22knts. Peak 30knts in the squalls
Just waiting to see how the boys go
we all got brave or mad and headed out on small gear that was correct 25% of the time. Few of us did some standing around waiting for the squalls to pass. Changing up and down sail and board size
good turnout. Shannon dropped in again ( almost a regular).
Hello to Nigel from down south who is in process of migrating - had some very nice gear
mark got out on his FSW KaiIIII and wave sale and carved some great gybes
Dennis loving his fangy fin on the isonic
shock horror we saw Imax riding a commercial board
we saw Adam for 2nd time in a week
I had an awesome time on 120 hawk - first real success with the board - must admit with the overpowered conditions I did a bit of water starting with the rear foot in so that I could get going safely
Lots of Ezzy love today
Living the dream
cheers Jeff
Action day today for sure
Looking at the chart there was a gust of 38 kts . I remember looking around at one point and everyone was standing in waist deep water holding onto their gear . . I'm sure everyone was saying faaark to themselves . It was unsailable for a few minutes .
We sure got our fill of great sailing conditions this week. All of my joints are saying wtf. Just as well the wind is dropping off for a few days to recover.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys l felt at home straight away, sorry l couldn't stop for a beer but had to get food for the house. Had a reasonable session on thursday as well. Any foilers in the area?
Welcome to the clan Nigel. The weather is rarely as crazy as last Wednesday thankfully. I'm sure we will have many beer drinking opportunities in the future. Catch you some time later this week hopefully, wind gods willing.

It's all good and well Nigel joining us , but he's jinxed the wind away . That's going to cost beer
Lovely afternoon with the boys at sandstone Northey winds
dreadfull walk out through the wind shadow at low tide to access the flat water playground
easier access at turners camp however much nicer sailing at sandstone unless you're chasing speed down the flat water ninja creek
dropped into turners on my way to check wind strength Bumped into a ghost from the past..... a skinny dags getting back into sailing after a long layoff
Great to see you sailing again mate
cheers Jeff
Soon as I got on the plane I had a smile from ear to ear.
The new board fantastic, but more wind than I was expecting, so no foil.
Think I better work on fitness for a while before i give that a try though.
Probably better to have a bit more available in the tank for that one.
NE at Sandstone is probably not the safest considering where you would end up if you got into trouble but it's such a great ride out towards the island on relatively flat water. The turbo boost in the middle on the way across was great.

That turbo boost is awesome , trying to get top speed in that relatively flat water should have a helmet on . Over 25 kts gets exciting
Apart from the long walk out , I think that wind angle is my favourite.
HI Pete,
Mate, there's a bit more gut to get rid of.
And there's been no hair there for many years.
Lee, haven't seen you for year's and year's mate. Life obviously takes you in and out of this addiction as much as me the last God knows how many year's.
Have to keep coming back. We're all drawn to it forever.
Hate the times living without it.
You're looking good Darren and hope your sailing fitness returns quickly.
Once all this covid stuff is sorted I will do a Lake George, Burrum and Green Island tour and catch up along the way.
