Swell started to fill in here this arvo. Got 3 wide set waves at one of the northern beaches points. Hectic. Busy and I thought very dangerous. Got my three in quick succession so decided to quit whilst I was ahead very nice waves. Not super excellent conditions but pretty fun. Nice to take a few good drops on the Evo and do some nice drawn out turns after 2 days of surfing small beachies. Tom and the next few days look fantastic. Would normally being doing a coastal run but at this time of the year not worth it. Probably less crowded here - the irony

left the water seriously wasted and fully stoked....rights were long and cruise, but the left ......WOW were fast and hollow
Did I say it was friggin awesome ?? ....just in case

So bummed. Went to bed super early In anticipation and set the alarm well before 5 so I would be paddling out whilst still dark to beat the crowd only to be greeted by the devil wind from the SE. Ahhhhh. Managed to sneak back into bed though.

Swells backed off and low tide watched old guys riding shortboards which was ugly btw.

See that legend Wes Berg came unstuck yesterday at Burliegh. Ouch. Hope he recovers. Shallow sand banks and reefs are not fun.

This is what I have been doing. I know it's not surfing but really been enjoying taking the little nugget out for her morning nap about 7.30, so quiet. Weather has been nice not many out other than the nonas watering their garden!

I'm working all week and didn't miss out on anything today. Strong easterlies and heavy rain here. I've got Thursday off so will be looking then or maybe after work if it's good enough.
