WTF

Can a approved seabreeze fact checkers confirm this is true for me?

Tony - bro - thanks so much for the weblinks... the data is real... yes, I went there... yes, I verified the data in your post against the source...

data.gov.il/dataset/covid-19/resource/9b623a64-f7df-4d0c-9f57-09bd99a88880
datadashboard.health.gov.il/COVID-19/general

Not sure this is going to take you where you want to go though... soz... in particular, source 2 is awesome, what a great tool... so, let's look at some data...

When considered as part of a population of 100,000, the data looks a lot different... I did take the trouble of looking at the population under 60, coz I hear the deniers here wailing about why they should participate in protecting the elderly or those with existing health complaints... so, screw those people... and here it is... below... how inconvenient...

Let me guess... the data is now all lies??? Government lies???

Looks to me like the seriously ill who are unvaccinated outnumber the vaccinated 4 to 1. It's all there in blue and green...

Choose you own adventure and good luck with your choices...

Your point is ~50% of population vaccinated multiplied by vaccine efficacy of 95% is 42%

Dood?? Where'd you go? No reply this time?

Can you mark my homework? Did I get it right... sure, I opened your paper, read the Abstract and page flicked the rest before responding to your post within 5 minutes...

So, let's be clear, the message you are trying to tell me is that the unvaccinated are reducing the effect of the vaccines in the population, thus elevating the risk significantly for all... awesome... great share man...

Reading some posts in this thread... Guys, how are you surviving in Oz these days? Looks like NZ is locked because of 1 case. Crazy. I mean, I understand the logic... Potentially if we can lock everyone and stop everything on the planet for say week/two then this virus can disappear. It would work good in a Petri-dish or at a local zoo but not in reality.
Here in some parts of NYC the rule is there are no rules... One clown already resigned, another on the way out in Nov, lots of lies + retard running the country. So if people want to wear masks they do if they don't, no one gives much serious cra*. Went to a restaurant with dancing floor yesterday and maybe 10% of people wore masks. There is some sort of mandate starting Sep 13 but I have huge doubts a lot of businesses will follow nor police who hates the mayor will seriously enforce.

From reading your Oz posts, it sounds like one can go to prison for catching Covid.. In Russia they actually made up quite a few of these criminal cases for not following prevention/isolation protocol without prof (for the opposition mostly)..

Sorry Leto but your mob has had more die from this virus than you lost in both WW1 & WW2 combined. That is crazy.

But feel free to brush over your Covid-19 death rate; which has once again started to climb over 1000/day as the US heads into autumn and winter.

While I'm on the subject, is there any statistically significant control groups left?
Sweden was great for being the measure of lockdown effective/ineffectiveness. Now that Sweden is fully vaccinated I need a new control group to measure the value of these 250+ vaccine candidates.

Gibraltar...is back in lock down after being the 1st place with 100% vaxed.

Ah fair cop.
Three of my students aged 16 got their shots today were back at school in some classes of mine. Of course i didn't say anything because its their parents choice (and theirs presumably) plus none of is can be certain either way - and if you think you do - you havent looked into this enough.

just saying it was weird - Weird times.

I do hope though we are doing the right thing, given the push to take this experimental "vaccine", and now to our children.

Still can't go past data out of Sweden.
There were 150 16-17y.o. that made it to intensive care throughout the pandemic.
I don't have any individual data on these kids but in the interim it's reasonable to assume that a high percentage had a confounding illness, some would be obese, a handful would be premium athletes, and a couple would've copped a high viral load and Some really bad luck.
For most kids, my math suggests it's not right.
For vulnerable kids, it's really cool that there is something available already.
Also Sweden are not vaccinating under 16s unless they are high risk because there is no benefit which is a fair indication that their math aligns with mine.
As an aside, can you imagine the government employing a confounder based risk stratification policy on these kids. Line up kids. Ok fatty, to the left you get the jab. Sorry miss Wendell, your son is slightly underweight to be considered high risk, maybe force-feed him for a week and come back.

Brent. Surely you're aware that 10,000 people die every day in the States. The number hasn't climbed to 11,000 nor over 20,000 which may actually warrant some of the level of concern it's garnered

that being said democracy is severely perverted in america the political legalisation - especially when it comes to political donations and lobbying for the very people that make the laws. Especially around money and wealth distribution.

Macro, just out of interest, did you get a vaccine. If you did, what date did you get it, so I can check your posts

All in the interests of science of course, as I want to make sure that everything's good.

Why don't you tell us why you had the jab and why you think it's worth the gamble of possibly suffering long term side effects.

I think the biggest side-effect is someone on Seabreeze pestering me.

Soldiers die for lies, I don't find that funny at all. It's sad that good people are manipulated to fight and die for bs reasons.

Just to set the record straight:

Sweden solved the problem with increased covid number by testing less.
Sweden solved the problem with a lot of dead people in the retirement homes by not testing them for covid.
Sweden solved the problem with overflowing ICU's by not admitting older people and leave them to care for themselves at home.

Don't use a country as an example when you cannot trust the numbers.

But considering that you start with:

"I don't have any individual data"

And then make an uneducated assumption from that I assume you would pick any number anywhere that would support your opinion.

Normally I stay out of discussion online but I cannot stand when someone refer to the Swedish handling as successful. Telling old people that they are on their own if they catch it and fudging numbers is never ok

Hi Joe

Agree, the historical approximation of 10k people a day is a lot and the number has been observed for a reasonable time. Any spike or anomalies outside of the usual causes which has grown to 10% in a short period is of concern. Sure Covid may be gobbling up those who may have passed away from other forms of influenza but also consider this strain of virus was not killing people 2 years ago and at its peak last year, deaths were 4k+ per day in the US. That's 40%+ of the total daily death count last winter. This is a serious chunk of daily deaths and can not simply be muddled in with the historical normals to prescribe wait & see, 'it will just disappear' as usual as a solution.

Either way, I got my second AZ early this week & have had no negatives. Long term? Don't give a flying f#*k, lead a full life & am not about to sit around procrastinating over what ifs, maybes and hypotheticals.

What a hoax
